The mayor of San Juan, Carmen Yulín Cruz, is a lying, opportunistic scrunt who is blaming DJT for problems Puerto Rico has had for a very long time.

I live in earthquake prone Southern California. I currently have enough food, water and fuel to last me almost a year as well as enough firepower to stop anyone from taking it from me. Sorry the perennial victims spent their money on something else, they needed better priorities.

They probably were broke and or did not have any gas.

You know what that 3 star general said, the one appointed by that dotard?
"The Defense Department has not sent enough troops and vehicles"

    http://thehill.com/policy/defense/3...-puerto-rico-says-general-in-charge-of-relief

The general who did Katrina back in 2005 says the same,
and that the gas distribution is not good.

    https://www.bloomberg.com/news/arti...trina-response-criticizes-puerto-rico-efforts

So all in all... there are experts contradicting you and your thumb sitting president.

Excuses are all liberals are good at

Trump got the supplies to PR and the locals could not organize themselves to distribute it

They can't because everything is broke.

Even that 3 star general says their own forces are not enough and do not got enough equipment.
Who is to blame for that? PR? lol
It's the government of the US!

The general needs more troops to do the work while the PR's sit on their butts and complain about lousy service

The number of troops was 2500,.. and maybe grow to 5K.
Houston got 14k troops! Florida: 20k troops.

How is this not obvious that the US government/Trump utterly failed with an adequate response? lol

Many could and did, but the San Juan mayor fell way short. She felt, it seems, that being anti Trump would get her some positive results with those who want to make disasters political.

The troops were mostly Texas and Florida National Gurard soldiers

Otherwise Texas and Florida have military bases that are just a short driving distance away as needed

You should try peddling your misinformation to the nearest black NFL player you can find because they are more gullible

So? It says plenty how much help is needed, and Costa Rica aint getting it. Who is to blame? The dotard with the rest of his government. Geez, even Haiti received more military aid from the US than Costa Rica. You aware Costa Rica is part of the United States, and Haiti is not?

Haiti had 22.000 American troops. While that part of the United States initially had to do with 2.500.
Are you able to do math to spot the difference?

Maria hit 9 days ago. Less than half of the Puerto Rico National Guard is on duty.

The PR's could be doing more for themselves

But they expect Uncle Sam to do everything for them

WTF you on about? It says:
Many personnel are dealing with the devastation in their own lives, he said, and some are providing help in their full-time jobs as police, firefighters or other first responders rather than through the Guard.

The US government with that dotard at the helm just fails to give adequate help, like the US government gave to other places and even foreign countries.

You and the PR's expect instand gratification and that is never possible

Some NG may be serving in other important jobs but certainly not all of them

Criticism is due where criticism is due. And the dotard was 8 days late getting the army involved.
And the amount of people he is sending is not even half of what usually is sending.
    People noticed it.

    Source?

The 3 star general says he doesn't have enough men in PR.
The person who was in charge of the Katrina says their are not enough men in PR.

So people who know, they have an idea.
They all say currently: not enough!

How on earth can you dispute this?

If the "3 star general" needs more troops he will get them

    Thats how stuff works

Identify a need and fill it

In Texas and Florida most of the troops needed were provided by the state National Guard

In PR the natives are hiding in the jungle and not reporting for duty

We don't know how many but its beyond reason to assume that the National Guard are all police officers too

Just proves the previous amount of help was inadequate.
And that the complaints are totally justified.
1000's showed up, other 1000's did not... because they could be preforming their duties as cops, firefighters, medics etc etc.
And you got no clue one bit how many did not show up for no reason. The number could be zero for all you know.
Those are American citizens. And source?

You have no idea where the locals are or what they are doing

But less than half showed up for duty in the PRNG
