You made a false assertion, one that was moot because Puerto Rico is bankrupt, and goods can't be purchased with tears.

It's not really hard to whip people who've just been through a category 5 hurricane.

Do you normally praise fighters for kicking injured people while they're laying on the ground?. Especially when nobody was fighting anyone in the first place?.

It's like a cop coming by after someone's been hit by a car and beginning to stomp the victim for jaywalking instead of calling an ambulance

So you agree that laws intended to control commerce for the sake of union workers hurt "the little guy" great. Let's do away with them all. Why stop at the jones act?

Trump is a five year old. If anything hurts his ego he strikes back. He was unable to understand or empathize with the frustration and fear of the Puerto Rican people because it may reflect poorly on his own sense of self. He is a five year old.

I don't need to be brought up to speed on the Jones Act, nor do I oppose it. When a third of Puerto Ricos citizens rely on US gov't subsidies to live, every single welfare dollar should flow back into the US economy.

Oh you noted then didn't comprehend what was noted.....where I said. That once this Mayor went with the Dis. That Trump has the Right to bring the disrespect back her way. That would be the appropriate thing to do. As one can never let a Democrat get away with disrespect. Otherwise they will just keep on bringing the disrespect.

She don't get to act or talk inappropriately and Trump has to follow some moral code. Nor does she get to stand before the Camera and outright lie. But that's what she is doing.

You don't think the Mayor of San Juan doesn't know the port is open with restrictions? Doesn't see those Coast Guard Cutters and Helicopters?

Sorry.....I aint buying into the BS.

You know you're making the same argument John McCain made 2 years ago when he tried to repeal it? Why didn't it happen under the Obama admin?

Utterly false allegation on your part!

Temporarily suspending the Jones Act does NOTHING to remediate the DECADES of damage it has done to the PR economy.

your party should have supported John McCain 2 years ago then. They didn't. You might want to figure out why not...

He is. He has been doing so. From the beginning. The mayor cheap shots him after the governor says he's been on constant contact with the feds and believe they're doing everything they can. You believe the mayor because she trashed the president, that's all this is ....

    I already addressed all that.

This isn't about a spat between 2 politicians - this is people in fear of their lives needing help. If you don't think that changes how Trump should respond, then there's nothing more I can say.

He responded to the mayor who took a cheap shot at him. That's who he's responding to. She's in fear for her life? I kinda doubt it.

I hear the desperation in her voice, and I read the thin-skinnedness in Trump's tweets. That's what this is.

If PR was allowed to have free trade there would probably be far less welfare needed.

But don't let that stop you from blaming the victims like your beloved BLOTUS is doing.

From your Politico article, "nobody actually knows whether the law drives up costs, or if Puerto Rico would benefit from a repeal". Again, as PR's entire economy relies on subsidies, it's completely justified to expect some degree of reciprocation.

Quote me the cheap shot. What exactly are you referring to?
Undoubtedly she fears for for the lives of her compatriots, at least.
