    :(

I can't get over these people first insisting that Trump had no way of winning the Electoral College, implying that they embraced and accepted that system, and now trying to oppose that system and insist on a popular vote instead since they lost! It's just so immature.

What did you expect? Honor and civility? :roflol:

The average drone is just as corrupt and deceitful in their daily lives as the establishment politicians they worship. Trump winning is just another excuse to smash and grab a TV.

That's one of the best things about Trump winning. They loved the electoral college system back when Trump was leading Hillary in certain polls. They talked about the "Blue wall" and the impossibility of Trump having enough states in his camp to win the election. Then, when he won, they hated the electoral college and wanted it to be based on the popular vote.

The hypocrisy shown during this election cycle will be written about for many years.

Dems have so thoroughly compromised their integrity this cycle. It really is a complete loss for them.

Most of the far-left trolls seemed to have banned themselves on Nov. 8th; but I see there are still a number of them here; one notable one still masquerading as a statistician, who apparently thinks California and the NPV is all that mattered on Nov. 8th.

Some will never see the forest for the trees.

The only thing I object to is that the candidate with more than a million votes more than yours was still adjudged the loser. I've never said we should campaign based on electoral votes, for how can you actually do that in the final analysis. My main objection is your arrogant and false claim that you now have a "mandate" and intend to run roughshod over those you have "defeated" when you have really not done so at all.

But please, keep it up. 2018 will be here sooner than you think and 2020 even sooner thereafter. You may then find that those you are looking down on now will not be the gracious winners we have always been before, and in fact I hope we will not be good losers now, you certainly never were and it didn't seem to hurt you

Last week I googled "Trump can't win" and other versions of the phrase and I found threads in many different political forums and news sites that are just like this one. I read them all with great satisfaction. The best political threads were from the Huffpost and New York Times opinion pages which had blogs and comments much like this thread.
They're like crack to me. I can't get enough of them.

Note... I don't use crack. It's just a saying. I get high on green tea.

Get over it. Your side was comprehensively defeated across the country. Fair and square. And don't even start discussion about the popular vote as everyone informed knows that your side would lose at least 3 million votes due to illegal voting and other illegal machinations you so got used to. It seems to me that Law and Order scare the daylights out of people like you. Decent people have nothing to worry about.

what backfired is things like this, Trump no path to 270, so they said why bother voting then, Clinton has it made... quickest way to lose is getting your voters to think their vote is not needed to win

It's more likely that their money from Soros and the Clinton Foundation was quickly repurposed to other matters. It's hard to be a paid "Shill 4 Hill" when the checks start bouncing.

    This seems quite personal.

Politics is personal to the left.

Where did I say anything about a mandate?

But the left was defeated, and soundly.

    - - - Updated - - -

I think thats the case. Trump won, like it or not.

Evidently he means the California and New York mandate, whatever that is. He and others are failing to appreciate that, state by state, Trump won majorities. It's just that a couple of our states have massively higher populations than the others. Disproportionately higher.

One day he will realize the error of his ways, but the way it sounds, that won't be happening soon. (The election was a month ago)
