Lols no. History will look back on Jan 6 2021 for what it was. A protest that turned into a riot. Furthermore they're going to look on you Dems as being wholesale dishonest and trying to turn Jan 6 into an insurrection while you compare it to the civil war. And they're going to laugh at you with a tinge of embarrassment.

Legal argument= threaten SCOTUS. Okay Liberals, it's time to educate you guys on cause and effect. The cause of removing Trump would lead to the effect of bad actors, and despite everyone's wishes to the contrary even if Trump told them not to act that way tomorrow, they're still going to do so

Kapeach? Are we good? Now, the actual legal argument on the 14th is cut and dry: Neither the States nor the people have access to the 14th amendment. Only the federal government has access to it.

Even liberal courts have acknowledged that.

Liberals are like women or beta males in the sense that they want to push the limits all the way up to physical force but NOT including it. They want to be that punkass beta in the bar or the club who wants to talk **** all night and get in your face and then when you break his teeth out he's calling the police cause he didn't really want any, he just wanted to push the limits and expected you to back down.

Liberals are the same way. But they're going to find out. If you push the limits too far, eventually somebody is going to break your teeth out and to hell with the consequences.

If January the 6th were a person, it would be jussie Smollett. Lol

Trying to elevate it to the level of Pearl harbor is absolute hyperbolic ridiculousness

He (they) KNOW that. They are just minimizing the horror of that day.And by doing so , they are trying to "normalize" such beheavior.
You can be assured that if a Dem had incited that insurrection..........they would be singing a different tune. ( "lock him up " or "send him to the gallows" But in their eyes, no matter what Trump says or does or incites.............. they are just fine wit it as he just lies about it........plays the victim and they accept it as if it were gospel.

I just find it funny that the same people who want to protect the Democratic institutions, are now arguing to disenfranchise said voters and think that somehow, we will remain a democratic country.

Back in the Weimar Republic, they tried banning the Nazis. It didn't actually work, because well political violence never works. It would have been better if the majoritarian parties could've convinced Germans to keep voting for them. Obviously they could not, hence the Nazi rise to power.

It's the same thing here, neither the Dems nor the GOP have a valid argument or even want to present one to defeat Donald Trump, hence the removal is key for them to retain power. It's winning an election 'by the legal means of the constitution'

But it robs the spirit of the election.

I'm just super surprised they haven't figured out yet that when they set precedents like that, we are just going to come back and do the same thing to them.

It shows their lack of patriotism. Hundreds died during Pearl Harbor, including civilians. Thousands died during 9/11. Comparing 1/6 to 9/11 or Pearl Harbor is because they lack patriotism and loyalty to the US.

Indeed. It is a sorry day , that one man has gained that much power over a segment of the population...............and is using vindictiveness as his "policy" to get re elected. When ONE MAN is more important than the country...........there is a big problem Of course they will say that this man can restore the country to a time when things were glorious. (in their minds) As if going backwards is a positive option or realistic. Or they "like his policies". He has not been in power for over three years. He has changed, He is more bitter, vindictive and angry now. He is in a lot of legal trouble, and his speaking" sills" are moronic.

Well to be fair they are just echoing the rhetoric of their leaders. But either way it's a pretty pathetic reach and disrespectful to the victims of 9/11 and Pearl harbor.

I love how you talk about vindictiveness to get elected and in the EXACT same post point out how your side is using partisan prosecutors and deep blue innominate juries to keep him from getting elected.

The hypocrisy is absolutely oozing out of that post.

That is some ironic projection. liberals announced their intention to impeach him on day one because they were still mad that he beat Hillary and it was her turn.... And for the next 4 years all they did was let their anger lead them into a blind hatred of the bad orange man that continues to this day.

It will depend on who writes the history. Either way. History will not look kindly on that day. To bad many play semantics with that event as if a riot is something to be proud of. Trump still incited it. No matter how the Trumpians spin it.

He is the author of his own problems. He is also the author of other people problems by virtue of his sadistic language and threats.

It is beyond anything "left" or "right" now. The T phenomena has taken on a life of i;ts own..and is perpetuated by his followers.
This situation is a historical first.

We literally have three parties. The Republicans ( traditional) The Trump party and the Dems.

So now he is warning everyone ahead of time of the potential violence if HE DOES NOT GET HIS WAY.

He has done it twice now.

So sad, when push comes to shove 99.9999 % of his devotees can't even be bothered to protest for him anymore.
Deep inside they know that he doesn't give 2 shits what happens to them.

NYC and Florida arrests were humiliating for him, they were a no show.

So you don't think it's disrespectful and ridiculous and melodramatically hysterical hyperbole, to try to remotely compare January the 6th to Pearl harbor and even 911?

It's almost like Democrats forgot how many service men and citizen died on those days.

But never miss a chance to use the corpses to beat an agenda drum

I want Trump to win because I want to see the Dems and their loonies hand over power to him peacefully on Jan 6 2025. I don't believe they'll do it. I think they're going to make Jan 6 2021 look like Mr Rogers Neighborhood.

Other than that and the enjoyable payback I get to watch by Trump, there's not a super big need to win this election. The likelihood of replacing a SCOTUS member is fairly low, I think you'll have at least one if not two for the 2028 winner though. Furthermore I think it actually might be beneficial for the country to see four more years of Democrat ineptitude to really cement the win in 2028 which will be much more important (barring any unforeseen issues like wars and plagues) than winning in 2024.

IF Trump wins................ the dems will NOT behave like Trump did. refusing to accept that he lost and he still believes he won. That is insane.

Maybe you WANT the dems to behave as insanely as Trump did so you would feel better about trumps crazy behavior.
And he is deteriorating. As his behavior is demonstrating.

I don't know Mia. Your side has spent since 2016 telling your followers that Trump is an authoritarian, he is a dictator in waiting, he is a threat to our country, our constitution and our way of life. The left has repeatedly referred to how he might just kill people he doesn't like and entire swaths of society because he's racist and you're now trying to convict him as a felonious criminal...

And you think they're going to peacefully hand over power to him if he wins? I think not.

I think it'll get UGLY on Jan 6 2025 if he wins. And a REAL ugly, not that bullshit fairytale ugly the left tries to make Jan 6 2021 into. Real, messed up kinda ugly.
