Good thing you guys refuse to provide any kind of evidence that the above is what is happening. The best you can come up with is that you think that no former or current GOP politician should ever be charged with anything no matter what they do.

So you have ZERO proof it's political.
LOL. You actually are that naive. Amazing.

For me, I just don't make things up because it fits a narrative.

I don't have to prove you wrong.
The fact that you can't prove you correct is all the proof needed. You made it up.

I have been proven correct, you simply disregard evidence you don’t like.

You have failed to contrive any evidence that the District Attorney ever indicted anyone "for political purposes."

Citizen Trump will have the same opportunity to attempt to refute the charges as any American would have. No one is above the law, not even cult leaders.

It would be more accurate to say that nobody should be above the law. But some people are nevertheless.

Naive is claiming trump and Cohen jumped through all these hoops to hide the payments, and still pretending they didn’t do anything wrong

The series of legal reckonings that the Cry Baby now confronts, as the law repeatedly rules that he cannot force his minions to hide the truth, bodes ill for the Big Loser of 2018, 2020, and 2022.

    His streak could well continue.

I don't care what they did since none of it hurt anyone. There is no victim. I care that the judicial system is being weaponized for political purposes. It is disreputable and dangerous.

There was a reported "conflict of interest" claim because years ago Stormy had gotten in touch with and spoke with Joey Boy's office or Joey himself.
Curious if his quitting Trump is related to that and also that Stormy says she's ready to testify?
Or he took his millions and jumped the sinking ship and all of the lifeboats?
I thought he was gone months ago.

'Attorney Joe Tacopina withdraws from Trump's legal team'

Former President Donald Trump on Monday lost an experienced defense attorney from his legal roster. Joe Tacopina told ABC News, "I withdrew on all matters."

Tacopina accompanied Trump when the former president pleaded not guilty in New York last April to charges that he falsified business records stemming from his hush payment to adult film actress Stormy Daniels.

Prosecutors with the Manhattan DA's office allege that Trump engaged in a "scheme" to boost his election chances during the 2016 presidential race through a series of hush money payments made by others to help his campaign, and then "repeatedly and fraudulently falsified New York business records" to conceal that criminal conduct. Trump has denied all wrongdoing.

In a letter to Judge Juan Merchan, the judge overseeing the case, Tacopina wrote, "I write to respectfully inform the Court that my firm, Chad Seigel and I hereby withdraw as counsel for Defendant Donald J. Trump in this proceeding," Susan Necheles is Trump's lead counsel in the case. Attorney Todd Blanche also appeared at April's arraignment.

'Stormy Daniels says she's "set to testify" in Trump's New York criminal trial in March'

    Source: CBS News

    January 15, 2024 / 12:54 PM EST

'The adult film star Stormy Daniels said on an episode of her podcast released Sunday that she expects to testify in former President Donald Trump's upcoming trial on state criminal charges in New York. The trial, scheduled for March 25, stems from allegations that Trump agreed to a scheme in 2016 to falsify documents while reimbursing his former lawyer for a "hush money" payment to Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford.

"Obviously, things have been next-level crazy, since I am set to testify in, at this point in time, March — obviously, that can change any moment — in the hush money case," Daniels said. A spokesperson for Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, who is overseeing the prosecution, declined to comment.

Trump became the first former president ever charged with crimes when he was indicted on 34 felony falsification of business records counts by a Manhattan grand jury on March 30, 2023. It was the first of four criminal cases that would be filed against him in the ensuing months, on allegations ranging from retention of national security secrets to attempting to thwart the results of the 2020 election after his loss.

Attorneys for Trump did not reply to a request for comment, nor did a representative for Daniels. Trump has entered not guilty pleas and denied the allegations against him in all four cases, a combined 91 counts. He has accused prosecutors of charging him for political benefit.'

Tacopina lost Trump's E.J.Carroll case for 5 million so looks like he's pretty damn sure he'd lose her 2nd case and the Stormy case too.
Habbhabbahabba can do her magic now with no interference. lol

Trump Attorney Joe Tacopina Withdraws From Manhattan Legal Team

'Tacopina’s withdrawal comes one day before Carroll is set to take him to trial a second time seeking damages for defamation. The shift in Trump’s legal team comes as Iowans are set to cast the first votes in the 2024 campaign, with Trump as an early favorite in the caucuses.'
