Two of my dogs just played tug-of-war with one of their toys, so why did the cops go after Mike Vick???

Once again, tRUMP is a f*cking liar.
It would be quite mentally stable of those to realize what a liar he is.
No comment was ever made from the DA office of NY.
Only out of the liars mouth.
But it gave him the opportunity to raise money from the cult followers.

The entire House(419-0) voted for declassification of COVID materials, that includes Democrats. Because even Democrats want to know about the origin of the coronavirus. We should all want to know about the origin of the one thing that changed our lives in a once-in-a-century event. And considering President Biden said he'd be transparent. I'm hoping the Senate follows suit, and we can have a real nationwide discussion based on universal facts, found by the government on the coronavirus.

Its a waste of time. It passed 419-0 because they want to get reelected, and they know people would punish them for opposing it.

The public's opinion shouldn't drive the legislative process.

    Settles that.

Nobody tried to overturn an election this time either. There was an attempt to delay the result in order to investigate fraud. There was no coup. There was a sore loser who caused no harm or effect on the election. Try to get past the hatred and consider the facts, the real facts. I don't care for Trump either but I really dislike the dishonest flack he takes.

There isn't a legislator anywhere that would agree with that. Legislation is all about politics and usually all about nothing but politics. Just consider the dangerous overspending. Why else would politicians do that except to buy votes?

As far as 2020 goes, RBG herself said that the President is elected for four years, not three years. So, Trump was within his power to nomiate the next justice. If she didn't want that to happen, she could have resigned during Obama's time but she thought Hillary was a shoe in.

McConnell was full of crap when he said, “The American people‎ should have a voice in the selection of their next Supreme Court Justice,” What can I say, he's a politician and his lips were moving. With that said, and using RBG's logic, Senators are elected for 6 years, not 5. They could have just voted every one down and achieved the same outcome while wasting a lot of time.

Those idiots up there always make rules that they find convinient at the time but then are used against them later (see the nuclear option from Harry Reid).

It doesn't matter if he CAUSED harm...he ATTEMPTED it
    Attempted murder is a crime
Attempting to get people to commit election fraud on your behalf is a crime (See my signature)
    Delaying the result...for any reason...is a crime 18 USC 1512(c)(2)

That's all you have to say, "Ah well, McConnell was full of crap"?
It doesn't piss you off that he did that...and then, just 4 years later, completely reversed himself?
Or are you happy with the result and are willing to give it a pass?

The only thing Biden should say, if asked by a reporter, is "let the criminal justice system run its course." But again, I don't think the indictment will come today. Maybe by Friday or next week at the earliest. The DA is still considering more witnesses, which tells me the Grand Jury is wavering a little on what charges, if any, to provide.

the other thing is we need to stop trying to say when will Trump, or anyone else, get indicted. Just let the justice system run its course. It can act funny at times.

Nah, the Dems were more subversive than that. They just tried to take him down by setting up fake Russian collusion accusations. When Dems riot, they do it peacefully by burning cities, fire bombing police stations, and setting fire to federal court houses.

    The accusations were not fake.

Even the REPUBLICAN controlled Senate Intelligence Committee released a report that detailed Russian propaganda campaigns and other things done to help Trump get elected.

If the public's opinion shouldn't drive the legislative process, then why even bother having a legislature? You know, the whole taxation without representation bit.

The public isn't smart enough to know what needs to be done. I include all of us in that.

We do need to do better at electing smart people to congress, but both parties stopped caring about that a long time ago.

We should be electing people to do a good job, not what we want.

    Or dangerous tax cuts.

Yea, we are ruining the country by electing people who tell us what we want to hear.

Ah yes, you're talking about how Trump personally opened fire on the congressional cops w/ his Uzi right before he lobbed a Molentov cocktail.

    Sorry, I'd forgotten that part...

Sadly, you've forgotten to actually look at the facts of what he attempted to do and can't understand that there's something between just asking for a recount and opening fire with an Uzi, or at least you are pretending you don't understand that.

What, you want to go back to the Planet Earth? Fine. In 1824 Jackson got a plurality of the votes and a plurality of the electoral votes. The U.S. Constitution says if no candidate gets a majority then the House decides. They picked John Quincy Adams.

Talk about your political maneuvering, nothing happened in 2020 that was anything like what happened in 1824.

    Yes. And?

Yet Trump tried to overturn the EC anyway. Now you understand! Congrats!
