What exactly do you think the govt should be doing that's not being done?

If they are to be believed then so should Breitbart.

I surely don't believe you when you can't prove your assertions. No one else should either.

There is absolutelyl ZERO logic to that.

Again, there is no relationship between these two entities.

Beyond that, there is NO excuse for selecting only one source of information.

You should be checking what you read against a number of sources - espeially including sources of scientific information when the topic is scientific.

If you do that, you will better determine what sources are more likely to be correct. And, that certainly does NOT include Breightbart or Infowars.

Then it also wouldn't include CNN or the NY Times.

You're absolutely right. Makes one wonder why you don't follow your own advice. Always more than one way to read statustics.

How about following the advice of experts instead of crackpots like trump who push untested drugs like a carnival barker.

The whole point of the effort to educate the public is to encourage conformity. It is in everyone's interest to recognize the threat and the importance of cooperating with the medical experts. If the facts scare you then perhaps you should talk to someone. Hiding your head in the sand and pretending it will go away only works when there isn't a body count and there is no immediate accountability. But this time there is no bs crackpot republican spin than can hide the facts.

It wouldn't matter if I provided 1,000 - you will continue to believe as you wish. In the article I provided, Sean Spicer was quoted as he was at the meeting. But you don't want to read anything from Politico. So I see this as a dead end.

For your info, I'm Teleworking and haven't left my house (or yard) for the last 3 weeks. You're preaching to the choir. Much like President Trump, what the hell do you want from me?

The fault here is with China. They lied, lots of people died.

Despite a massive campaign by Beijing to paint President Xi Jinping and the Communist Party in a positive light, China's initial decision to downplay its coronavirus numbers as well as multiple shifts in its timeline has come back to haunt them and the rest of the world.

"There's simply no question that China's lack of candor to the world impacted the way the world was able to respond," Vice President Mike Pence said last week.

Politico/Morning Consult poll: Americans prefer Trump to Biden in the COVID-19 crisis

    Leadership.

Even with media giving Biden as much oxygen as they possibly can and going after Trump tooth and nail, only slightly more than a third of voters trust Biden in a serious crisis — and nearly half prefer Trump.

Our pandemic experts, the CDC, and other experts ALL knew this was serious before the first case landed on our shore.

And, they very definitely notified Trump - who did NOT take the actions they said were important to take.

Instead, he went to the people and stated it was NOT a problem, that everything was going to be OK.

And, his campaign of downplaying the importance of COVID has continued ever since.

This idea of "blame it on China" does not answer for Trump's behavior from that early time in January when he was notified and told action WAS required.

It doesn't answer for the rest of January, for February, for March, and for the action that he still fails to take TODAY.

Leadership is not by fear or false information. And, it involves a shared plan of attack, not a call for everybody for themselves.

The leadership we are getting is from governors, who are causing us to work together to overcome a shared problem.
