I don't care about his lifetime of behavior. Not much difference between him and Biden in my book. The good candidates always tank early. You can't get a party's nomination without being arrogant and worthless these days.

 

That's what our laws do. But one of the major goals of terrorists is to strike fear into the populace to get their approval for authoritarian rule, which may well make them safer, but less free. Difficult to find a balance. A democratic republic probably is more risky, but the risk is worth the freedom that comes with it.

I don't entirely disagree with you, but the political system - in my opinion - is still one of the best. From time to time, it needs reform, but not revolution..yet. It's possible that time will come...but we just dodged a bullet regarding that, with the preservation of our electoral system and the experience of what may be proved to have been an attempted - but failed - coup.
