    As long as Trump is an active Pres. Candidate:
    Why would anybody expect anyone (Left, Right, or Center) to "stop talking about Trump"...
    IF Trump drops out of the race, he just becomes another insignificant turd in the punchbowl...
    BUT, as long as he is an active candidate:
    Of Course, people are going to "talk about" him...

    TL;DR--A person would have to be egregiously misguided (and totally clueless about how politics works) to even insinuate that people are going to "stop talking" about an active Presidential Candidate...

    Trump makes syre people are talking about him by intentionally doing things to inflame his supporyers, detractors or both.
    It's how he gauges himself in importance, which is his ultimate goal.
    If more of his supporters rejected his bs he might, maybe, retire from politics.

    As Americans that put the nation first above any petty ideology we squabble over.

    Growing up in the 50’s (you know the time you-all are AGAINING about) no matter what religious or political beliefs my parents, their neighbors and friends may have had; at the end of the day they were UNITED as Americans.

    As the US and the world move closer to authoritarianism, people will look back at this moment and wonder why the people willingly gave up their freedom. I think leftists need to think about their roll in all of this. They should realize that the left always creates a regime that crushes dissent and "misinformation" and ultimately brings misery to all. Go back and read 1984 and animal farm.     It would be fitting if trump wound up in jail, but I think that the best we can hope for is a conviction for his crimes of sedition and insurrection and whatever other crimes they manage to convict him for, but our deference to the office of potus probably means that they won’t give him actual jail time.
