No, he didn't. He said he didn't have enough to charge him. He also said that a sitting President can't be charged. He was also hampered by the rules he had to follow.

 

Of course it was wrong but the differece is that those were true "witch hunts". The crime was simply the color of your skin. That's not the case with Trump. He has been a criminal his whole adult life and was able to buy his way out of trouble.

 

We (and that includes you) are not in the know as to what evidence the NY DA has. Grand jury proceedings are generally not discussed until their process is finished. Same goes for GA, same goes for the grand jury that Jack Smith has convened. Unless you're on the grand jury, you don't know anything, either.

 

That's the same case with Trump. He's being hunted because the Democrats hate him. The reason for their hatred is irrelevant.

 

You know that means he "didn't have any evidence of wrong doing". Right?
