You find that forum to be different in scope than here? I think the primary difference between the two is the amount of latitude given to all things "official". One's clearly anti official and one is pro official and each are somewhat controlled towards that particular forum's agenda (and yes, they BOTH have a clear agenda). Both are similar in theory. The agendas are just opposite. Personally, I'd rather be less limited in what I'm allowed to say or not say, in the spirit of true "free speech". Bottom line...one forum promotes the official BS, and one argues against it. Free speech is limited to the mods opinions.

There's moderation of speech at both places, less severe here with the profanity blocker. But LR steps into 'thought control' realms more frequently. You can freely profess your propaganda here, but that's not true there. Such an example is my belief system in 9/11. I see it one of three ways: LIHOP, military op a la Northwoods, or al Qaeda did do it and it was a "surprise attack." I don't see the "hoax". I don't understand the relevance of some of their theories, like with the shutters on the windows. Okay, so some windows have shutters, what's the point? Or the smoke generators. Or that there weren't any victims. When I ask questions about their theories, they get furious. I've been banned several times for asking questions. I would not lie to you, they are very much a controlled environment. The mods and Phil perform 'troll watches'. Basically, if propaganda that is against the grain of Phil's liking and the established core of upper nods, it is swarmed by the babysitting mod/Phil. Sure, they're "like-minded", but they have a lot of problems.
At least he gives a public warning to the individual, instead of just summarily editing everything you say because somebody didn't like what they read.

Naw. They listed me logging in from 3 different IP addresses like that would prove something. It proved that I logged in from three different locations. Actually it didn't. My work IP will always be the same because it is the public facing IP of the firewall. My home IP changes regularly because AT&T must use a really short lease time. If I logged in from my phone it would show another. The doofuses were going about it backward. A single user name logging in from different IPs shows nothing. What they needed to look for was multiple usernames logging in from the same IP. Apparently the mods don't really understand how that "Innernet" thingy works. I've already created another account and posted a reply to Phil. I made it easy for them this time. Looks like they finally got around to banning it. Took a couple of hours though.
