Tucker Carlson going up against Fox News during his same time slot on Twitter

I didn't see @JohnHamilton say ANYTHING like that. It sounds to me he is just opposed to double standards but instead you try and us the Trump angle. I don't know, call me crazy, but that seems slightly disingenuous to me. Where does he refer to Trump as this great savior? please, enlighten us

 

I have already total you that I am not supporting Trump in the primaries. I wish that he would go away.

So.........Tucker is going to attract many of the same people who watched him on Faux. The ones who found his outlandish lies (Patriot Surge), his overt bigotry, his fondness for authoritarians, and his thinly veiled misogyny entertaining. No surprise there.

I am surprised that Faux didn't have him sign a non-compete clause in his contract.

 

You have both turned this into a binary tribal thing, which is need not be. We can recognize and criticize the problems regardless of what "side" people want to group them into.

 

This should be interesting. I wonder if this is causing a huge dilemma for Tucker viewers. I read recently read the median age of Foxnews viewers is 65. My guess is a majority of those viewers do not have a Twitter account and probably do not know how to use twitter. Are we going to have a whole bunch of boomers calling their kids and grandchildren asking which channel Twitter is on?

 

When you use the FBI and the Justice Department for political purposes, there is no middle ground. If they continue, we will have a police state. When one side will compromise on nothing and never admit that they are wrong about anything, you can’t have much a dialog.

If you have read my posts, you will know that I am pro-choice and unhappy with Trump. I am a Republican, but I am not a party hack or robot. If the party is headed in the wrong direction, I will say so.

 

They get to hear from him on Twitter so for now until he finds a new home, they'll be fine.

Btw, without Tucker, Fox News ratings have plummeted. I doubt they'll recover anytime soon.

I've read that Tucker's target audience is 45-55.

45-55 is pretty good for a Twitter audience. There is a decent chance people in that group may use Twitter or at minimum know how to install the app.

I suspect that sans Tucker, they'll get bought up by a Blackrock or Vanguard (I think one of those is already a major shareholder) and they'll become even more another MSNBCNN clone. I mean, they pretty much already are imo, with a light conservative flavoring, but all the pretext will be gone.
