There is ****ing video of them busting in windows, breaking down doors, screaming death threats, and attacking cops. Funny how you whistle and look the other way when the facts disprove your own narrative. Not surprising, but funny.

 

So then why are the cops not taking that single protestor armed with the scary flag and blow horn?

One didn't have to be psychic to have known that laws, rules and regulations weren't going to apply on J6 to Trump and his little soldiers.

There were capital police that were investigated for their behavior and most likely these officers were too and they made the decision they were OUTNUMBERED bigly and not to engage the mob which was a real smart decision.

Sicknick had 2 strokes that killed him 6ish hours after the riots while he was still working, strokes can be caused by stress,stressful events and trauma so it's way too coincidental, and the coroner did say that the events of the day could have played into his strokes.

How embarrassing for Tucks who's off the rails once again.

WASHINGTON — Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., and other Senate Republicans on Tuesday lashed out at conservative Fox News host Tucker Carlson after he characterized the deadly Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol as "mostly peaceful chaos."

At a GOP leadership press conference, McConnell said he wanted to associate himself with the letter sent to the U.S. Capitol Police force by Chief Thomas Manger, who denounced Carlson for spreading “offensive and misleading conclusions” about the Jan. 6 insurrection, including a “disturbing accusation” that Officer Brian Sicknick’s death had nothing to do with the riot.

"I want to associate myself entirely with the opinion of the chief and the Capitol Police about what happened on January 6," McConnell said as he held up a copy of the letter. "It was a mistake, in my view, for Fox News to depict this in a way that’s completely at variance with what our chief law enforcement official here at the Capitol thinks.” A handful of other Senate Republicans on Tuesday pushed back on Carlson's claim that Jan. 6 was "peaceful chaos," with Sen. Thom Tillis of North Carolina blasting those remarks as “bullshit.”

Carlson, the popular but controversial figure on Fox, made those comments to his millions of viewers Tuesday night as he aired select clips of never-before-seen surveillance footage of the Capitol on Jan. 6 and downplayed the violent insurrection that injured 140 police officers during an hourslong assault. “I think it’s bullshit,” Tillis told reporters in the Capitol."

There is nothing ironic about it. Are you contending that the J6 Committee's investigation was slipshod? Just because it did not show all 41,000 hours of video, is no legitimate criticism against it. This was not a trial, let us remember. It was an investigation into what led to & allowed this to occur, in the hope of identifying steps which would lessen the chances of it happening in the future and, especially, ways to improve the government's reaction, should something like this occur in the future.


As for Tucker, he has an untrustworthy history; certainly far too suspect, to be solely relied upon, if he is going to recast the entire event, in a new light. Personally, I doubt the things he finds, could credibly do that. This is mostly just spin, meant as fodder, for the base. What isn't, is not consequential, to the big picture.

“Selective footage” yes it was wasn’t it? And there is actually precious little they have shown that reverses any of the official narrative.

As if this, possibly could, under any circumstances, be enough to make a sane person discount the huge throng, we watched battling police at the doors & pulling defenders into the crowd, smashing windows and forcing their way in.


But one possibility I've heard, is that those half dozen or so officers may have been intimidated by the thousands of others with the horned one, and not in any rush to ignite a conflict.

 

You chose the absolutely right word, to describe Tucker's clips: highly "selective."

 

Just show her a picture of yourself standing calmly, away from the windows, holding your key, as if you'd just used it to come through the door-- easy fix!

 

We have one of those camera doorbells now. She's warned me against using it to mess with her head and prank her . . . which was tempting.

 

There is also video of people being literally escorted around the building with no violence which was never shown, intentionally suppressed, and not posted by media due to their bias.

I am sorry you feel it's acceptable to paint the narrative as the media and the government sees fit. In all other nations, there is a term for that.
