Turns out that the Louisville Bank shooter was a gun control advocate

I just saw a news report on our local CBS station (Channel 12, Cincinnati) that indicated that the turd who murdered people in Louisville, was a gun control advocate and his murder mission was designed to help push gun restrictions

Years ago (circa lat 1980s) some conspiracy theorists claimed that Patrick Purdy (the stockton California school shooter who used an AK platform semi auto rifle) was "programmed" to do that since the anti gun movement had recently turned its attention from its failed jihad against handguns to trying to ban "assault weapons" as outline in marxist agitator Josh Sugarmann's communique to the media where he told the media to deliberately confuse the public by pretending rifles such as the AR 15 were no different than the machine guns popularly displayed in widely viewed movies such as Rambo or Scarface etc. All he needed was a well publicized shooting with a semi auto rifle to help push his agenda and up popped Patrick Purdy.

Do you expect that it should be harder? And if so, what specific restrictions are you referring to here? I suppose it wasn't apparent yet from the reporting that dude who bought the gun wasn't someone who could have been red flagged, or were you simply going to ignore that part? A gun provider can't look deeply into the future behavior of a person a weapon is sold to, can they? And if you believe they could, what mechanism produces this clarity for you and the gun seller?

You can order any gun online that you can buy in a gun shop. I do it a lot... there are good bargains online. You simply have them sent to an FFL who will do the paperwork and background check. Easy peasy.

Actually they're cheaper in the EU. Illegall, sure, but if you're not opposed to breaking the law, you can get a full auto AK for cheaper in the EU black market than a legal 'sporterized' AK costs in the US. Prolly ARs before long too, what with Ukraine and all.
