What is the ratio of cops killing/cops being killed. You can't include civilians being killed by other civilians for an accurate comparison.

Blathering nonsense. Yep, they knew what they signed up for. And part of what they knew when signing up is that they are not obligated to risk their lives. They know the definition of justified force. If YOU don't like, that is your problem.

So basically what you are saying is because we have black and brown people in the US we need to kill them because everyone knows they are all criminals.... right?

Your story includes the following paragraph:
I'm curious if this story is trying to imply that all 385 of these shootings were wrongful shootings because it doesn't specify and based on the above paragraph, it's likely that a vast majority of those shootings were justified.

As long as it's justifiable homicide, I'm OK with it. American citizens also kill over 200 criminals each year, it's called justifiable homicide. And none of these criminals ever commit another crime.

I just gave it to you. 50 cops killed in the line of duty by all causes including traffic accidents / 2000 civilians shot or beaten to death by cops.

So then we should only hire people to be police who will never use lethal force and we can not allow them to be armed anymore? That way we only hire people "who can handle the job"?

So more law enforcement officers are killed in the US than our soldiers fighting wars. Seems the cops are doing a great job cleaning out the streets. As long as it's justifiable.

Fact the US has over 5 times the population of those countries and about 6 times the black and Hispanic population most in concentrated areas than those countries (they don't even show up as a fraction of a percent in Germany and Austrialia).

Fact those countries offer more respect for the police and the law than those high crime concentrated areas in the US.

Comparing the basically unarmed population in European countries to the very well armed population in the US...is apples to oranges.

That is very likely unlawful destruction of unalienable rights. Many probably had mental issues or substance abuse problems.

Considering government and courts are violating laws to prevent development of effective mental health pursuant to laws and under the immunity of governmental health care.

Here is record of the courts and law enforcement inability to recognize, follow and uphold laws relating to developing effective mental health care.

The subpoenaed evidence would have proven something that could force psychology to oppose the church/state licensure authority that unreasonable fears addressing the unconscious mind directly. That would have been happening by 2000. But no, failure to appear is okay when pleadings are filed indicating homicides and suicides were caused by missing records subpoenaed. Evidence proving that other court records were absent. This declaration show the records were in possession of the county a year earlier.

The sheriffs dept lied in the letter at the direction of the county counsel.

How 'bout that ! Public law enforcement employees paid to violate laws then collude to lie about it! Evading compliance with health and safety code, drug and alcohol, effective mental health care. The entities both collectively obstructing justice, and judges are okay with it.

Here's a woman judge ignoring a huge mound of evidence showing a part time meth lab, hah, "fire in bed of pickup parked at curb," in a house where I rented a room.

    http://algoxy.com/law/ud.glenbrook/sbmethcook+court.html

Ever since the US military has been in Afghanistan heroin has gotten much more available and much cheaper. Remember the bodies of dead soldiers returning from Vietnam filled with bags of heroin? There is a history of this.

Here's s letter from Santa Barbara counties top mental health professional showing a defacto approval of a potentially effective, new treatment. Actually old treatment, 1970's, shunned by church interests controlling gov.

A FOIA was ignored for that "written response". Filed with the clerk of the board after serving on supervisors, then disappeared, then re filed.

Then I try to get the paper to do a story about a federal law suit and history of law violation by Santa Barbara county related to the development of effective mental health.

    http://algoxy.com/law/no_free_press/sbsecretsofmedia.html

17 reporters and editors fired, then gagged starting 2 weeks after dropping off a copy of the lawsuit to a reporter of the santa barbara newspress

The district court secretly revised 1885 local court rules providing justice to pro se civil rights suits about 6 months prior and the new judge our suit should have gotten didn't happen.

This is gov violating law Immorally, unethically and illegally evading development of effective mental health care that could help addicts stop themselves.

The problem is far, far greater than it appears on the face.

The problem starts at the top, so discourse on fixing it needs to begin with authority GREATER than the top of government. That is us, the people. We need to understand then use our lawful and peaceful revolution.

So you are basically saying that minorities are criminals....... And you can still not justify the numbers even after adjusting for population.

victims of the war on drugs..... end the war on drugs and the violence will die down with time

prohibition is the gateway to crime for many... it makes for bad cops and bad citizens

as long as we funnel billions into gangs, gangs will exist....

No but are you denying that minorities commit a HIGHLY disproportionate amount of crime in the US? That it is the minority centered urban areas that drive out crime rates not middle class predominately white areas which are realitively crime free?

Its not just the shear number but other social factors of that population as well and the lawless in which it engages and lack if respect for the law and other law abiding citizens that is so previlant within it.

Lol yep, American cops out there murdering everyone. 12,000,000 civilian/office interactions every year, and 1000 end up dead. Of those, about 1/3 had a gun, while another 1/3 had a different weapon, and 1/3 had no weapon... which doesn't include their vehicles or a weapon sitting close by.

How many Crips are running around the British countryside? What about Sweden? How many Crips live there?

GD's? MS13's? LCN's? Show me the gangs taking over entire sections of cities over there.

Show me the most violent behaviors that took place in Europe you can find, and I'll show you 10 similar ones here in the US. If you are going to try seriously argue police over there deal with the same type of criminal and are just better at negotiating with suspects, then it's clear you don't know what you're talking about.

Just like with your "shoot them in the leg" idea. Lol

Why not shoot them in their big toe? Less chance of serious injury then.

Stopped reading right there. You should be embarrassed to assume they're innocent people. How about you back that BS up?

I'm sure police love knowing there's people like you out there that think it's wrong for them to defend themselves.

No you said that. My statement stands true, the UK does not have anything close to what we have to deal with. The UK does not border a country that is ran by drug cartels, the UK does not have the gang culture we have in the United States, the cops in the UK hardly ever carry guns so of course they wont be able to shoot anyone, and the UK overall has nothing close to the population nor criminal element we have to deal with.

We are 2 very different worlds, you can't compare us since it is polar opposites. Trying to do so is ignorant as all get out. Come to our strongest hoods, we will make your soccer hooligans look like pre schoolers.

Almost 170 gangs in just London.
It's an incredible display of ignorance to think they aint using durgs there, so there aren't gangs involved in that.

About 6% of the kids between 10 to 19 year old belong to a gangs in the UK.
The UK has appointed Bill Bratton, former police chief of LA and New York.
And according to him, the US got little to teach the UK about gangs.

    So...

Here's the whole paragraph you quoted:

Which doesn't really answer the question I asked anyway.

Just because some parts of the world doesn't have the specific gang "the Crips" doesn't mean by default that there are no gangs there. In fact... probably Caracas got zero crips while it's gang violence is OFF the SCALE. And so I incorporated that in my answer. But apparently I need to paint a picture about this for you as well.

Strange, there have been many posters stating that the UK is more violent than the US then post the usual mail.online lie as evidence. Were you one of those?

UK doesnt live next to a 3rd world country that is ran by drug cartels either. And their gangs are nowhere near as strong or armed as the ones in the USA. There are over 1 million total gang bangers in the country compared to what.....a few thousand in the UK lol?

Again, you are ignorantly comparing apples to oranges.

Oh dear god no, the UK is a cakewalk compared to what we have to deal with. The only thing the UK really has to worry about is the influx of rabid muslims.

Must be nice having their own little island like country that has no direct borders, especially from a country that wants to flood the UK and brings their gang members with them.
