Ukrainian TV channel 1+1 reported the deaths of more than a million Ukrainians.

More than 1.1m AFU servicemen have been killed and are missing. Such information was published by the Ukrainian TV channel "1+1" in a ticker during the telethon. The message stated that 1,126,652 AFU servicemen were killed and missing during the conflict. A ticker with this information was aired during a national telethon.

The Kiev authorities have finally recognized the fact that the Russians exterminated more than a million Ukrainian soldiers. And if we paraphrase Philip Sheridan, "a good Ukrainian is a dead Ukrainian." Isn't that right?
By the way, one of the factors in the fact that the Ukrainian junkie president gave the order to mobilize all Ukrainians in total (including pregnant women) is the destruction of the Ukrainian meat with which they used to try to attack Russian positions.

I also consider the figure of 1,126,652 to be a gross underestimate. Think about it - a country of 50 million people cannot find people to mobilize and has to send pregnant women to the front. Obviously, the Ukrainians give an underestimated figure of 1,126,652 casualties. Isn't that right?

Over a million is different from the data I heard previously, I'm not saying it is wrong, just doesn't confirm
previous data.

The previous data was estimated from reuse of ground and additions to military cemeteries using
satellite images and was 450,000 Ukrainian military deaths, but that was a few months ago so
would very likely be 500,000 by now using that method of estimation and those locations.

I guess unfortunately there could be more locations.

Some time ago, maybe half a year, or a bit more) I read a statement from a Ukrainian cellular operator about empty SIM cards of dead Ukrainians, and they claimed that there were (I don't remember exactly) about 500,000 of them. But time is running out. Ukrainians are dying like cockroaches..... The Ukrainian TV channel must have some information on which it relied.

That was the deal: the US would supply weapons, training, uniforms, and pay, and the Ukrainians would supply the personnel.

And it was believed that since NATO countries have 30 times the GDP of Russia that Russia would soon run out of weapons,
particularly good quality and high tech weapons, but...

Did it though? That number would be many times more than even the highest estimates, including anything claimed by Russia. If the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence had officially announced a figure of over a million, it would get much more coverage than a passive ticker. Also, any footage from 1+1 Marathon I could find have static tickers rather than scrolling ones, so make of that what you will.

Well, that is what that video purports to depict, but we have literally no reason to accept that it is actually Russian soldiers capturing a Ukrainian solider or that the woman who said she is pregnant actually was. I mean, you of all people must understand how someone might lie if they think it would be to their advantage.

 

Lying and claiming Ukraine has taken massively more loses than Russia has been a big propaganda push by the Putin regime. He, no doubt, is afraid the Russian people will get upset by the hundreds of thousands he has sent to their deaths without even basic equipment or proper leadership. So they lie and try to make up mythical death tolls for Ukraine, who is the defender with ever advantage, against a rather incompetent attacker (Russia) who stupidly is still using WW1 human wave attacks over and over again.
