That right there is not a PHYSICS explanation. Cards do not damage themselves in a collapse. They are too strong relative to their mass. It is the square-cube law. A house of cards can be rebuilt with the same cards. I built my own collapse test: The washers provided the mass and could not be damaged due to the Potential Energy of the drop. But the paper loops provided the support. But there was not enough energy to destroy all of the loops. The collapse arrested. Agreed and it's inconceivable the US government (which consists of the people in Congress, the Executive, the Judiciary, agencies, embassies and bases all over the planet) did 9/11 in the first place.
Perhaps you are using terms that are an over simplification? It's not like Congress sat down and said "let's attack WTC and the pentagon, and crash an airliner in rural Pennsylvania". No, it didn't happen that way. As the Meryl Streep movie title said, "it's complicated". The US government has been hijacked by bad guys for years. It was compromised many years ago. Most likely, that is what Eisenhower was trying to say in his warning regarding the Military Industrial Complex. So a more accurate statement of your claim is that "special interests WITHIN the US government" caused 911. My 2 cents.

That whole thing started with the official conspiracy theory and it's the only one that matters. The rest are a consequence of the failure of the US government to prove their conspiracy theory is anything more than a theory. No one's making excuses for an unproven theory (see above for accuracy). If Muslim terrorists were indeed solely responsible for planning and carrying out 9/11 then it must still be proven. Accusations and fraudulent official investigations are not proof. If it can't be proven then other trails must be investigated and there are plenty in the form of circumstantial evidence, more than enough for a grand jury indictment.
