I havent been around in a while and didnt know someone did a full examination and write up on it. also if you look closely at the holes there is no galling or aluminum wrapped around any of the columns, its impossible for aluminum sheet metal to impact the side of a steel egg slicer with no galling or tell tale sign of an impact. Rather like a chain, the tower(s) were as weak as their strongest link. Those floors, the entire structure, had been holding all of the weight above it since it opened around 1970. Then suddenly, the entire thing collapsed at almost free fall rates. According to you and NIST, from fires where the airplanes struck. So if your story is true that weakened steel caused the collapse, virtually all the steel would have been weakened for all the structure to collapse. Do you understand now? The theory you offer cannot be proved, and even after providing a good explanation on the heat issue, you choose not to explain how much heat would be required, and how long it would take for that heat to be conducted throughout the structure SO THAT all would fail at about the same instant.
To be fair, his claim is that it was a pancake collapse. That is, that the cumulative weight of the collapsing floors stacked one top of another in a cascading style caused the lower floors to give way (if I'm reading his theory correctly). Example: NIST doesn't even support this theory. There two key problems with his theory (besides the contradictory physics aspect that he falsely believes supports his claim). 1. If the pancake theory were true, the colliding floors would cause multiple hesitations and the collapsing wave would not accelerate in a smooth uniform downward motion as seen on video. And much of the colliding material would have had to come almost straight down which is nearly impossible to happen as it would likely bounce off to the sides. 2. The videos clearly show, especially when seen in slow motion, that the material from each floor is being blown out laterally and that there is no stacking of floors one on top of the other. So there is no cumulative weight coming down. The resulting physical evidence also shows that to be true for a couple of reasons. A. There are massive beams/girders weighing several tons each being ejected at distances of up to about 600 feet, some of these embedded into adjacent buildings. Quite a bit of this material caused damage to WTC7, which was about 300 feet distant and some of that damaged up to the 18th floor of WTC7. B. Massive amounts of concrete dust turned into fine powder sprayed a good part of lower Manhattan and into the Hudson River. The concrete itself had considerable weight that could not have been part of the cumulative weight coming straight down.
Floors and columns are two different things. Don't confuse the two. The column beams are vertical and the floor beams are horizontal. The horizontal floor beams were meant to hold the specified weight of one floor. When the floor beams expanded due to the heat, they pulled the columns inward causing the catastrophic failure at that floor which caused all the floors above to fall. At that point, none of the intact floor beams below were designed to hold all the weight bearing down on them. The result was the domino affect all the way down. Do you understand now?
