Did we really lose more jobs in 2017 than the average?
I thought jobs were going to return to the USA?

All told, in the year since Trump was elected, more than 93,000 jobs have been certified by the Department of Labor as lost to outsourcing or trade competition, slightly higher than the average of about 87,000 in the preceding five years. But federal contractors made up 10% of that number, rather than the previous average of 4%. That suggests companies that work for the government like General Motors, Boeing and United Technologies aren’t worried about political repercussions from the man in the White House.

    Kinda back page news.
Since he lied about bringing jobs back.
Now he lied about Mexico paying for wall.
And almost single handedly, shut down the gov't.

So, the 2017 stock market rise is Obama's fault, but the 2017 outsourced jobs is Trump's fault.

    LMFAO!

You alt-lefties have gone completely bonkers.

Well, which of those two events would you like to credit Trump with? Oh, btw, the dollar fell 10% in true value in 2017

The loss of jobs, which has nothing to do with the stock market values, speeds up.

How much did a December 1 article take into account the impact of the President's Tax Reform law?

And then there is this statement from the article:

To actually protect good jobs in the United States, major fixes are needed to US trade and tax laws that make it profitable for companies to shift production and earnings overseas, as well as more investment in training workers for jobs that add more value.
Could you name the policies the previous administration worked on to provide major fixes to trade and tax laws?

Carrier is owned by United Technologies INC. A quick look at their financials show that the company's debt has been slowly creeping up. It's liabilities are now up to $62 billion.
It's got nothing to do with Trump but everything to do with money. They are cutting costs and the first thing to go is always expensive labor costs.

Doesn't matter what the truth is .. Trump will continue to crow and take credit for stuff he had nothing to do with.

When you add more jobs than you lose its called a net gain. If your trying to say the economy isn’t growing and jobs aren’t being added then you would ofcourse be wrong. Only the craziest of libs are still believing the American Economy isn’t roaring.

A few thousand contract jobs moved versus the millions of private sector jobs created.

I thought the booming economy was Pres. Trump's fault. So you are saying its only Pres. Trump's fault when the jobs come back to this country not when they go overseas.

Difference is Obama's policies made jobs leave while Trump's policies lure them back.

Has any tRUmpbot answered the question yet?

"Why are jobs moving overseas under tRUmp and why has the trade deficit exploded under tRUmp?"
