Yup, Mittens the Quisling has been criticized by everyone in the GOP, including his niece.

As Commander in Chief, Trump pretty much IS the tribunal.

Trump should appeal the case to the Commander in Chief.

Yeah except Mulvaney, Guilianni and Trump himself have all admitted to it at one point or another.

I understand that Trump world is going to try to spin this as total exoneration but if not for a sham trial in a loaded senate, Trump would be moving from the WH.

You are okay with Trump using the power of the presidency for his own crass political gain?

Was he one of the “victims” who had his feelings hurt when he heard about the phone call?

"The scariest aspect of Vindman's testimony is his insistence that U.S. foreign policy should be made by unelected bureaucrats like himself. Vindman says he and his colleagues have formulated "the best, most informed judgment" about Ukraine and it wasn't "appropriate for government officials" like Trump's ambassadors to act "counter" to it. What arrogance. See pages 270, 336 of the transcript."

Aw, c'mon... I've seen LOTS of Lieutenant Colonels pull just about every kind of political crap imaginable, in their desperation to become "full" Colonels . It's a hell of a big increase in retirement pay! But, not that many of them make it. There's hordes of Lt. Colonels compared to full-'bird' Colonels.

It sure looks like Vindman's never gonna wear those Eagles now, and considering that a full Colonel is a COMMAND-LEVEL rank, that's a very good thing. Better to send him someplace where he can be buried in a crowd of nervous attachés, or some 'go-get-the-general-some-coffee' crap like that -- and be carefully watched until he can be shuffled off to retirement!

[IMG]. You have to be very special to earn the right to wear THESE....

Because his job was to carry out the President's foreign policy, not his own.

^^^^ You nailed that one. It was appalling to hear a damn bureaucrat not understand that the President of the United States sets the foreign policy.

Also, the asshat thought the Obama Administration sold Javelin Missiles to the Ukrainians. That was in his testimony. Fired!

Thet would be funny to see a tribunal that has to read everything off a teleprompter in order not to make a total fool out of itself

Too bad the senate didn't hold the trial in a SCIF.

His boss, Fiona Hill, explained that in her own testimony. If I recall correctly, she essentially said that she didn't think he was cutthroat enough.

How is that not insubordination? He needs to get with the program or get out.

So he's either stupid or a liar, like Amb. Yavanovitch who said she never heard of Biden's infamous admission he got the prosecutor fired.

I forgot about Yavanovitch's ignorance too. For the "experts" there was a whole lot they conveniently knew that was wrong, or didn't know that hurt Trump and helped Obama.
