Vindman Escorted From White House After Trump’s Senate Acquittal

Alexander Vindman, who testified in Donald Trump’s impeachment inquiry, was escorted out of the White House on Friday, two days after the president’s acquittal in his Senate trial.

“Vindman leaves the White House today,” said his lawyer David Pressman. “But we must not accept the departure of truth, duty, and loyalty that he represents.”

The ouster of Vindman, who worked on the National Security Council, came after the Senate dismissed two articles of impeachment against Trump on a near party-line vote.

    And let the retribution begin!

Trump, the smallest man(?) ever to occupy the White House, has begun his official campaign on retribution and vengeance against his perceived enemies, starting with Vindman, a purple heart recipient. Welcome to Trump's America.

So, how far will Trumpersters allow him to go after dedicated civil servants and US soldiers?

Unlike Obama, who didn't prosecute the most whistleblowers of all previous Presidential administrations in history, combined.

    Oh wait.

    No, that was Obama.

Vindman was a leaker who had no respect from his boss or coworkers.

Maybe he can get a job handing out flyers for Bernie Sanders or Joe Biden.

The President's supporters will let him do whatever he wants. They'll probably even continue to sing his praises for every move he makes. Kids in cages? They're probably better off. Family separation? Well, they shouldn't have come in the first place. Abandon the Kurds? They're all terrorists anyway. Remove Lt. Colonel Vindman from his post? He was a rat anyway. Etc, etc. As far as his supporters are concerned he can do no wrong.

You're right. Ergo, Trumpsters want lawlessness over the rule of law. Will they feel the same way if it were them in the crosshairs? Which eventually it will.

As far as I know he was not a leaker. I don't think that he said anything until he was subpoenaed by Congress.

Do you even understand what whistleblower is, or why there are laws to protect them? Or do you just not give a f***?

'Bout time. Good riddance to the leaker and the traitor. I hope they find enough to hand him an indictment.

I understand completely what they are, and what the laws are.

For example, I know that Eric Ciamerella is not protected by the whistleblower statute, as Presidental phone calls do not qualify as a valid classification.

I'm also aware that Vindmann does not qualify on the grounds of policy disputes regarding said phone call.

Would you like to be more specific?

I'd be glad to destroy anything you'd like to try.

Vindman is a traitor to US National Security, who's responsible for the leak of the call to the Washington Post. Marking the 5th time in the Trump Presidency that someone has leaked classified information. We then learn that this traitor has Ukrainian leanings, and frankly it's surprising he was able to remain in the military.

He isn't being removed for his testimony, but for all of his activities against the US Government. It's laughable now that his lawyer wants to make him a pariah after being responsible for leaks and insubordination against a superior officer. He's lucky the President isn't looking for a military tribunal.

Please explain how he is either of those things. He didn't say anything until he was subpoenaed by Congress, and when he spoke it was just to the facts as he saw them. Are you saying he's a traitor simply because he thought what he saw was inappropriate behavior?

☐ A serious or flagrant problem, abuse, violation of law or Executive Order, or deficiency relating to the funding, administration, or operations of an intelligence activity involving classified information, but does not include differences of opinion concerning public policy matters. The President's phone calls do not fall under an intelligence activity.

    He's not a whistleblower.

The President doesn't have to keep him working in the WH...and at this point, why should he? He can't be trusted. He is still in the service and will simply be posted some place else.

Actually, there was testimony released from the closed door deposition. It was there where Ratcliff outlined that it was Vindman who used the word "demand"(as reported in the whistleblower complaint.) Ergo, Vindman has direct first-hand access to the whistleblower and was on the call.

His excuse that the whistleblower, not he, spoke the words doesn't make a difference.

DOJ needs get Durham to look at this and to see who the leaker worked with and then to see if it was criminal.

It was criminal, that I am sure of.

Been happening to us since the day Trump won the election. We just don't cry about it. I'd urge you to take the same road. You're not a victim.

Anything and everything that comes out of the WH/Situation Room is marked or considered classified(remember the Israeli story, way at the beginning of the administration?) This is the same thing. The MOMENT that the Washington Post got this, it was a leak. Not merely by the WB, but also by Vindman.

Are we arguing whether Trump had the right to can him, like the argument over sacking the ambassador?
