In 1962 Richard Nixon himself told the press "You won't have Dick Nixon to kick around anymore" in token of his complete defeat and the total end of his political career. In 1968 he became President of the United States. This was exceptional, but fortunes and ideas do change constantly and overnight in American politics. I just hope that whatever brings us to our senses is not grisly and horrible beyond description.

The left will manufacture atrocities if it resulted in the removal of gun rights from society. More than likely, they will continue flooding the country with needy and dependent 3rd worlders who will vote left-wing for their food, shelter, and Obama money. The same does not apply to guns as we do have a right to firearms.

No, sorry, the only thing in this country that is going to ban guns is a massive slaughter of innocent white people by "minorities with legal firearms" (I apologize in advance, it is not my intention to race bait this issue, but that's what it's going to take)

Until that happens, I'm sorry, but the gun debate is over, sanity lost, gun nuts have won. We liberals have to put this issue on the shelf and ignore it. Even though the US is the most gun violent nation in the free world, until the "race war" that many gun nuts are advocating for comes to pass, guns are going to be readily available to any idiot that wants one.

 

The only other people I hear talking about race war are the Stormfront refugees....... It's not going to happen. Regardless of what liberals (including Stormfront) have been fomenting, race relations are much better than they were 30 years ago (and 20 years ago and 10 years ago).

 

Horrible and grisly beyond description would be losing the rights and freedoms that our soldiers have fought and died for. Nothing would be worse than the USA becoming another homogeneous, cookie cutter, yes man, socialist nation of the type that has instigated and hosted all the world wars...

Its already been discussed at length. The proof is in the pudding. Remove suicides and gang related shootings and our statistics are a blip considering how large a nation we are.

I don't wish for a race war in order to get my political will. Race relations are better today than they were when I graduated high school over 30 years ago. They were better then than they had been 30 years earlier. Are race relations as good as they should be? No, but they will keep getting better unless people like you keep stirring them up in the hope for political upheaval and your own political power.

 

And some Americans would love to implement that type of society here.

That much is true and that is precisely why more and more states are becoming "shall issue" states when it comes to CCW's. That steadfast stance works both ways Johnny and your side is loosing.

Our guns aren't going anywhere, they are guaranteed by our constitution, you disagree, now what on earth can you possibly do about it besides absolutely nothing? Here in the U.S. they don't give you guns, you still have to pay for them much like a house car laptop and pets.

it doesn't say arms need to be well regulated. It says a well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right OF THE PEOPLE to keep and bear arms SHALL not be infringed.
