    The picture says -
    Established combat readiness
    ..... ..... "Full"
    Working mode
    ..... ..... "Combat."

In other words, Russia's nuclear triad is on full alert. Ready to use - immediately.
The West played with its double standards.
When Georgia attacked South Ossetia and Abkhazia, the West did not impose sanctions against Georgia, when the US attacked Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria ....etc, when the US bombed Yugoslavia, the EU did not impose sanctions against the US.
For eight years, Ukrainian fascists have been killing civilians in the DPR and LPR - and not a single human rights activist or Western politician has said a single word in defense of these republics ..... In general, the Russians are tired and now the world must prepare for change.
    You are ready?
My advice is to stock up on medicines, weapons and ammunition, food and fresh water, buy flashlights and batteries .... And most importantly - unite in groups.
Because in the post-apocalypse you have to survive on your own. You will have to fight off gangs and marauders on your own.

    How scary. What's next?

I won't be stocking up on anything over this empty threat.

Putin is getting desperate -- the battle in Ukraine is not going well for him and he's in increasing danger of being overthrown by his own government.

Yep. Looks like Purveyor of Delusions will probably be out of work soon, too. The new post-Putin Russia won't have any use for Olgino trolls.

I think you are confusing your doctrines. Russian military doctrine assumes the threat of the use of tactical weapons as a means of de-escalation a conflict - that is in keeping with the fact that Putin is looking for a get out. He needs to be seen to activate the "threat" of tactical nuclear weapons in order to go to the negotiating table with a credible negotiating "weapon" rather than the position of weakness he is currently finds himself in. He can't really go and tell the Ukrainians to surrender when his forces are getting the crap kicked out of them!!
Tactical weapons are different from Strategic weapons.

Well you tell me - do you think that the Russian Military Commanders will contemplate the thought of activating the strategic option over a small conflict like Ukraine?? Do you really think Russian Commanders are that stupid? I mean you're a Russian, do you think a sterilised planet is a justified consequence of a failed invasion into the Ukraine?

You really think that this conflict is between Russia and Ukraine? Are you that naive?
    Ukraine is an episode.
The real conflict is between the US and the EU on the one hand and Russia and China on the other.
Putin has been offering to resolve the conflict in Ukraine for 8 years. Even the "Minsk agreements" were signed. Which Ukraine signed, but refused to fulfill.
The United States and the EU have been pumping up weapons to Ukraine for many years, sending instructors, supporting Ukrainian nationalists and outright fascists .... And setting them against Russia. ... Russia answered. Not for Ukraine, Ukraine, I told you - this is a crum in global politics, but to the collective West.
Until now, there are many military instructors from the USA, Canada and some European countries in Ukraine.
Therefore, consider this conflict as the beginning of a great confrontation.
How this confrontation will end - I do not know. But it's not about Ukraine. Once again I will say - the cries in the Western media about Ukraine is the creation of public opinion against Russia.
Otherwise, why, when the Ukrainians bombed the peaceful cities of the DPR and LPR for eight years, where peaceful (!!!) people died, the State Department was silent?

    @Destroyer of illusions

O man ... if the West has pumped so much weapons to Ukraine, then it is why they fight agaisnt Russia now with no Air Force left and with Army equipment dating back to USSR time?
I see no modern Western tanks or other Hardware in Ukrainian military ... so again a Russian Propaganda lie or show me the modern Western weapons used against Russian aggressors!

And let's be honest... even if it's hopeless for you...
We saw in Chechnya how Moscow deals with insurgents when they want their autonomy or even independence! But of course they were all just bad terrorists for you...
Only if the insurgents are suddenly Russians, then of course that's something else, and if Ukraine reacts in the same way as the Russians in Chechnya, then that's a slaughter of Russians ... of course!
And if i just call the Russian separatists terrorists too, what then eh?
But on the subject: If Putin wants to threaten with nuclear weapons, then hopefully he knows that he will destroy the entire planet and that there will be just as little left of him and Russia as of the evil West!
Sorry, but Putin has shifted to spreading lies that make even a Nazi Goebbels green with envy! He knows perfectly well that NATO itself will NOT intervene in Ukraine and arms deliveries are allowed as well as Russian arms to the separatists!

He must recognize that he's facing a Euromaidan of his own if he doesn't change course.

No this is a childish tantrum by an idiot that believes in his own weird version of reality.

I mean sure....you can spin this lunacy any way you want it but to deny the ordinary Russian people the chance to live a fruitful and exciting life is...well... frankly sad. The Russian people are actually worse off than the Ukrainians as Europe will rally round them after all this is over but the ordinary Russian....as long as you have the wanker Putin in office...I feel sorry for them

If he flinches, within an hour Russia won't exist. And he can't attack all of us. As a threat he is trivial.

    Go ahead. Make my day!

We will see how long Putin will stay alive now ... maybe he will suddenly slip fatal on the soap in the shower?
For sure Russian military is not so stupid to follow "Adolf Putin" into self destruction by pressing the red buzzer ...

BTW ... Putin must be in real trouble now with thousands of Russians demonstrating for peace, but being caught directly by Russian Police and imprisoned for minimum 30 days ...
And his attack itself doesn't work as he thought ... Ukrainians hold their ground wth outdated weapons from USSR time and until now not a sngle word and report about the Russian losses in this war ... because of course there are non, even evidence clearly shows they are heavy!

If so then the conflict is in Putin's mind. The U.S. and EU aren't interested in conflict with Russia. Our only interest is in defusing Putin's aggression.

I don't doubt that is what he wants. If he gets it, he will regret it.

Because Donbass is part of Ukraine. It doesn't belong to Russia. Putin has neither the right nor the power to declare them independent from Ukraine. One thing Putin has succeeded in doing is becoming a pariah in the world and dragging his country down with him. It won't end well for Russia.

That’s an internal conflict. Those happen from time to time including in our own history. It’s not an attack on borders.

But there is a lot he could get away with before being stopped, even if he were assassinated.

If Pootin wants to use his nukes, no amount of appeasement will stop it, as was demonstrated by Ukraine.
Might as well just get over it.
