Well that wouldn't be accurate because the percentage of white people in position to engage in securities fraud would be much higher, therefore we would expect their representation in security fraud to be much higher. Your better example would be child molestation. But my argument would be the same for them.

If you're white and engage in child molestation the penalties should be extensively more than if you're part of a group that isn't overrepresented.

Just like my argument for blacks would be if you're black and commit a violent crime then your punishment should be much more severe than another's race that does so.

Look I'd prefer for them to fix their own violence problem. But if they refuse to do so then we need to fix it for them.

 

Men commit the vast majority of violent crime. Why don't we get rid of men or limit their rights?

While I understand that the simple fact of the matter is that this problem is UNIQUE to the black population. Other groups live in abject poverty, have been enslaved and discriminated against much worse than blacks, however they don't commit even a REMOTE amount of violence within their race that blacks do.

And this is not just true in America. In literally EVERY country that we keep these statistics by race blacks are overrepresented. So it's also not just an America problem. It's a black problem.

I agree with that, and it is all true... It is a major problem, so how does it get fixed ? Move them to Africa ? Lock them up as they kill ? Give them good paying jobs and offer a good living ? None of the above ? Shoot them all ?
I hear this same thing all the time, it has grown worse, and when someone says why it is like that, then the BS racism comes out of the closet... "I hear "they need to turn it around, get a job and work out of the problem" I am in Florida, suburb, no worries here, but have lived in several major cities, spent time in Chicago... One has to know the life these guys lead "SINCE BIRTH" to understand their plight. It is easy for us to sit out here and jsut call it "a PROBLEM" and bitch about it.

The RICH made the choice thru Carter, Reagan, Clinton, BUSH, to move everything oversea's. Every American said (good) cheaper goods ! Were you even around for that sales pitch ? The one where they said it is good for Americans to buy things from China because they are cheaper and that it is the business owners business and he can do what he wants with his business ! What happened to that angle from the republicans ? I am sure Trump was all aboard in 1980, 85, 90, 95, 2000... In the end, it will go back that way, so for 40 years one way they kept us from making good money, now 40 years back the other way to keep us from maing money. This morning on FOX news, they said record profits for corps. in this country, the Market is blowing up, up up... So things are Great under Trump right, lowest unemployment claims since 1940s ? Yes, all good, then where is the money for the workers ? WHy do they need a TAX cut ?

Ok, what percent of blacks commit this violence? 80% of blacks commit no crimes. So why are you so focused on the worst of someone elses race while ignoring your own races problems? 89% of all white homicides are perpetrated by other whites. Fix this first then worry about someone else.

 

Who cares what color the victims are? I care what color the perpetrators are. And whites do NOT commit violence at a rate that is higher than we expect given their population. Neither does ANY other race... except blacks.

Again this is UNIQUELY a black problem. Not ONE other race has that problem. Why?

 

I think everyone in Las Vegas would disagree with what the real violent crime problem is.

Actually it's not. You really haven't heard of the Italian gangs and mobs or the Hatfield and McCoys, or the prohibition era? This isn't a problem unique to race. America has a serious problem with violence and always had.

I'd propose doing like we do with gang members. If a gang member commits a violent crime their punishment is far more severe because they are part of a group who is more likely than other groups to commit violent crime.

The same should be true with blacks. If they commit a violent crime then their punishment should be more severe because they're part of a group who commits violent crime at an absurd rate.

 

If you did I'd say they should get a much more severe sentence.
