NO kids in the system? Yeah, I didn't make that claim. There doesn't need to be no kids in the system in order for it to be true that there are plenty of heterosexual couples who want to adopt. Unfortunately, it is the bureaucracy which is preventing all of the kids being adopted, and actually, if it wasn't for the bureaucracy, and kids were able be adopted easier, it may actually be the case that there would end up being a shortage of couples who want to adopt, meaning that same-sex couples could fill the gap. Was it your understanding that because there are kids in the system, this means that there is a shortage of couples? I can understand why you would think that, because it seems like it would be the case. How does that mean "second class citizen?"
