Can it get a Social Security number?

If it's a legal person then the woman has even more right to get rid of it. Born people cannot use another's body to sustain their life so a fetus, if it's a person, CAN'T EITHER :)

If abortion is banned women would be forced to gestate....do you know what "gestate" means???

Uh, YOU made the claim that there are heterosexual couples who would adopt unwanted kids....so it's up to you to prove there are NO kids in the system now....no kids who "age out" of the system because no one adopted them...

Right here : """I believe that the IDEAL is a GOOD mother and a GOOD father. But two GOOD mums or two GOOD dads would seem to be better than a kid languishing in the system for their entire life.

WHO TF are YOU to determine consequences ????

Are you saying that if you buy a car and it turns out to be a lemon you have to keep it forever because "actions have consequences"?

That wouldn't be smart or logical.

YES, actions have consequences ...and we humans get to decide how to handle the consequences.

Oh, that's right, I forgot you believe in magic..

Uh, it doesn't come from magic it comes from laws , our history, common sense, the sense of self preservation.

You sound like you hate the right of bodily autonomy but I bet if someone tried to force you to give them one of your body parts you might just object.....or would you just accept it because you don't believe in the right to bodily autonomy???

NOW can you address the rest of the post ?:

We all know what twins are. What you do not know is whether the two cells that result from the first division are neither one or two persons.

    Yea, that one.
    Not in dispute.
Really? And when it results in twins it is two persons? Is that how humans reproduce in your world?
    Or two...
There is no logic, just your uneducated drivel.

Don't you know what a mother is? Even if you give your child up for adoption, you are still its (biological) mother. You enter motherhood once you give birth.

That is incredibly progressive of you. :D

Good to know, but since it is a different discussion, I will not drag the convo any further off topic. :)

Ok are you now talking about two embryos? Two eggs fertilized, creating a near identical but still different individuals within the womb?

    https://www.babycenter.com/pregnancy/your-baby/twins-fetal-development-month-by-month_5229555

Fraternal – nonidentical – twins develop from two separate fertilized eggs.

Identical twins occur when a single fertilized egg splits into two. Identical twins look almost exactly alike and share the exact same genes. Most identical twins happen by chance.

So ya...when you end up with two separate fertilized eggs, you get two separate individuals.

Anything else you need help with? The color of the sky perhaps?

    Reality.

We need to be able to live in order to live (duh)and to live, we need to be free to make our own choices about our own lives and to pursue our own happiness. Are you at all familiar with Life, Liberty and The Pursuit of Happiness?

Actions do have consequences, yes. But, so what? Abortion is a medical procedure much like, say, a root canal, are you suggesting that if you do not clean your teeth (action) and get a cavity (consequence), you cannot visit the dentist to fix it?

... i mrean... That bacteria in your mouth is alive too! ;)

Why do you have such a problem with women enjoying sex for the sake of selfish pleasure?

    A baby is not a root canal. And a person is not equal to bacteria. Unless both a tooth and bacteria are;

    - human
    - alive
    - will grow into a human adult.

What do you think? Take your time, I know it's hard to tell the difference sometimes.

It would be like declaring windex and blue koolaid are the same because they look similar...lol
