Remember the “South Central” riots when a Simi Valley jury acquitted LAPD officers in the Rodney King case?

Remember the outrage when OJ walked and the woman in Florida accused of killing her kid walked last year? In the latter, the prosecution’s case was so weak that the prosecutor should be charged for abuse of office.

I am saying no one is rioting because its becoming really clear Thugvon looked nothing like the 12 year old kid they were pushing on us. I think most people as the facts come out have seen this kid is up to no good. I think Zimmerman should of stayed in the car but I also think he was attacked both parties had some responsiblities that led to a death

There was no legal obligation for Zimmerman to stay in his car. There was, however, a legal obligation for Martin not to throw the first punch. If the prosecution cannot prove that Zimmerman instigated the confrontation, the case is over.

That is pure speculation on your part. That's why we need a trial. The police have already said the situation was totally "avoidable" if Zimmerman had just stayed in his car. They also stated that Martin "was not breaking the law." If that was your child that was killed I'm sure you would have a slightly different attitude.

Not only was he not ordered not to follow ("we don't need you to do that"), had the dispatcher actually ordered Zimmerman to remain in the vehicle, it would not have changed the legality of this case. There is nothing worse than a fine for choosing to disobey law enforcement (and I'm not even sure the dispatcher rises to the level of that description).
