Depends. CEO's tend to not be the smartest person in the company. They hire high IQ people to advise them and to do specialized tasks. Yet, among two people competing for the same thing, the more intelligent one is more likely to come out on top.

Well, if you lived with one (as I have), and are a Doctor, then YOU should know it first presents as a whimper, not a bang. If you know of any examples of a dementia victim going from 0 to redline overnight, let us know.

Wrong ! You are confusing Aptitude tests in schools with an
I.Q. test. And I.Q. test is done by an experienced Person, usually
a Psychiatrist or Clinical Psychologist.Because to be done accurately
it has to be One-on-One.I am the only person I know who had an I.Q. test
while in Grade school.Because my grades were low yet I had ability.
I was just underperforming.Probably due to being bored with school.
However I was also very active in Grade school.I was an Altar Boy
and a Patrol boy.I played for 3 years on the Boy's Lightweight Basketball
team.I wasn't allowed to play football.Even though I really wanted to.
I also took piano lessons for 5 years.I wanted to the first year but my
Mom forced me to for the next 4 years.I would have been on the Boys Choir
but my audition was not good.I didn't possess a singing voice.
My Mom was rather proud of my I.Q. even though it wasn't really high.
I still remember what it was.It was 119.
Average I.Q. is somewhere around 100.
To this day I have not a clue as to how an I.Q. is arrived at.
Maybe it has something to do with the speed of response as to
stimulus. In college I was totally bored with class.Except a few courses.
In Psychology.I was even thinking of becoming a Clinical Psychologist.
    I.Q. ... Schmy Q.
It's really no indication of a human beings worth or even potential.
    In my book.
I don't think Donald Trump probably ever had an I.Q.Test.
If Biden did have an I.Q. test ... dollars to donuts he'd lie about.
He lied about his schooling and Plagarized.
He makes for the perfect Democrat.Just act all puffy and proud
and be the first to castigate and blame others.
Like with this Falling down while boarding Air Force One.
He made a big deal about Trump walking gingerly down a ramp
    once.And also said he's love to take Trump behind some shed {school }
and teach him a thing er two.
It there was a way for an I.Q. to be done by some machine, then
I'd bet Biden would break the machine.Or threathen the machine
to beat it's brains out or else.
Right there earns Old Joe a minus 25 I.Q. points.
Another 10 pt deduction if he wisenheimers too much.

I have to give you CREDIT for keeping that 119 IQ of yours under wraps since it is NOT apparent in the CONTENT of your posts. ;)

There has been this idea that has been floating around for a very long time. That is, below a certain level, one's activities and ambitions are limited by one's intellectual abilities, but above a certain level, one's intelligence is never a draw back. A couple of years ago the Chinese underwent a large study that looked at that very idea. They determined that the cutoff was an IQ just a little under 120. I don't remember the exact number. This is in agreement with the general idea that those with an IQ below 120 struggle with engineering and scientific concepts. Yet for those with a higher intelligence, there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of difference between an individual with an IQ in the 120's and someone with an IQ in the 180's. Richard Feynman claimed to have an IQ in the 120's, and he was at least as intelligent as Einstein.

I have long been aware that the IQ was originally created not to determine intelligence, but rather the lack thereof. It was designed to weed out dumb people. Apparently, IQ tests do really well at determining ability, at the lower levels, but not the higher ones. Which is in agreement with the Chinese study.

Anyhow, back to the cutoff point. One thing that anyone above the cutoff point can do, if so motivated, is to write a book. Or even just an in depth magazine article. Those below the cutoff point find such an endeavor exceedingly difficult. Bill Clinton wrote a book. A rather long one. Most of his wealth came from the proceeds from that one book. Lil' George Bush also wrote a book. Oh wait. he didn't actually write a book. One of his staff wrote a book and put George Bush's name on it. But Obama actually wrote a book. Three I think. And Michelle wrote one too. Trump wrote a book too. Oh wait, he hired someone to write a book for him. I think Biden has written at least three books and his wife also wrote a couple.

Thus, it can been seen that Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, and Joe Biden are capable of writing a book, putting their IQ's above the threshold, while neither George Bush or Donald Trump have been able to demonstrate that ability. I would venture to guess that both fall below the threshold.

Not so sure about that. There is also book smart and street smart
and also working 24 hrs. a day { like the Movie } to accomplish a set
goal.Like for the Olympics.A lot of high I.Q. types are not quick on their
    feet like a Clark Gable.Or a Jack Lemmon.Meaning they can't physically
accomplish a job as needed.Maybe as a Bookeeper or a Tax preparer
but not as a CEO.A CEO has to think ahead and plan ahead.Work long hours
if need be and constantly make adjustments. That does not necessarily
require a high I.Q. Like an Inventor or even a master mechanic.
A surgeon may need to have a high I.Q. just to get thru Med school.

Of course to a Leftist, Hannity is the worst possible kind of human.
Because he speaks Truth to Power.Takes no prisoners and backs up
what he says.I heard an interesting take on Rush Limbaugh yesterday.
The fill-in host played back Limbaugh and how those like a Rachel Maddow
aren't popular because of their personality. But soley based on the Narrative.
If the Narrative concerns some new hate being spread about Trump.then
Maddow scores.Like CNN and The N.Y.Times and Washington Post.
It's not what hosts say or newspapers write,it's the Content.
    It's like Porn.You know it when you see it.People don't purchase a
Hustler magazine for the Ads.They might.People watch the Super Bowl
for the Ads { commericals }.
Hannity is hated despised for the same reason that Donald Trump is.
Because they stick to their guns and defend what needs defending.
They don't kowtow to some silly Unamerican drivel concerning
Global Warming or whatever the latest Narrative is being pushed.
That means that Hannity, like Trump demonstrate True Grit.
The last thing some weenie Leftist cares about.
Plus Maddow looks some New Wave version of a combination
Salem Witch and Undertaker. She's just a practiced Liar.
Peddling anything that Pushes a weenie narrative.
The kind that really Impress weenies like MSNBC's Donny Deutsch.
Or a Nicolle Wallace.Or Steve Schmitt.

Link us to former President Trump's transcripts. Have you found Trump's IQ score yet? The hypocrisy in this thread is obvious.
I know why don't we compare transcripts and IQ scores for Obama, Trump, and Biden?

" or the sentence structure " is NOT a complete sentence.
There is no subject, noun or pronoun. Now if the subject was How to
Play a wisenheimer on a message board, that might just pass
muster with public grade school standards.

However just this week,Thursday,The Washington Post finally
issued a retraction about what they wrote concerning Trump's
call with Georgia's Election investigator { Frances Watson }.
Trump NEVER said { over the phone ? } to ...
" find the fraud ". It was an outright lie picked up and
used by The usual suspects to not only embarrass Trump but
to frame him.Like what The Steele Dossier was used for.

I'm just glad that the slice is pretty small. What is it, no more 40 million or so. FOX only has about 3.5 million viewers. A very small portion of Americans, yet seemingly the vast majority of conservative posters around here. Sure, you all can raise a big stink and all, but there just isn't enough of you to really matter. Not in the long run. And the circle is shrinking. As is the pattern, the smaller the circle, the more radical the ideas. Can you not see how out of the mainstream Republicanism has become, how unpopular it has become.

It was an addition to the previous post which ended in "NOT apparent in the CONTENT of your posts" to which I added, "or the sentence structure". It would slip in best as "not apparent in the content, or the sentence structure, of your posts". Some of them are really hard to read.

That is not true. When you see that 3.5 million viewer number, they are referring to prime time. It is nearly impossible to find the total number of people watching Fox throughout the day and night. You would have to take each individual show and then add them up and then subtract the number who watches more than one show. In short, the exact number is not available or at least, I have not been able to find it.

What has this got to do with past Presidents IQs or academic accomplishments? Is this what they call deflection?

I don't ask that you respect me, Center.

And I'll be honest enough to confess that I was initially very suspicious regarding much about Obama, going back to the time he emerged from the 'petri' dish of toxic Chicago politics to the national spotlight in 2008. Later, I began to thoroughly detest him and his 'handlers'. The rest, to me at least, was as predictably boring as it was obvious.

It's funny... I ask a question -- a simple question about Joe Biden -- and the next thing you know Obama gets dragged into the discussion, in much the same way that a cat drags a stinking, dead rat into the house. I commented on a likely very high IQ for Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter, and a probable low IQ for "W" Bush, but I didn't mention Obama at all in that post.... Obama was not a "Manchurian candidate", Center... and actually, he was little more than a hand puppet for the hyperliberal, radical Left and the Federal Reserve central bank!

One point of clarification, please... in your Post #20, you stated that my interest in Biden's IQ began because he beat 'my boy' (presumably, Trump). As I have said, over and over and over -- Donald Trump never was "my guy". I voted for him, nevertheless, twice, because the alternative in both 2016 and 2020 was, in my opinion, far, far worse.... It was that 'lesser-of-two-evils' thing for me, you see.

OK, then. There is no information from anyone concerning Joe Biden's measured IQ. Got it.... Thanks, everyone! I haven't learned anything new about Joe Biden as a consequence of opening this thread, but, unexpectedly, I have learned a good bit more about some of you....

Quite typical of a Leftist'.Since yer hard-headed then blame me posts.
How come you can't even come to terms with practicing what you preach.
Telling another poster that they should leave.I guess if they don't like
Biden and his Dementia then leave.
What about you not liking Trump and griping. Why dint YOU leave.
Because yer used to being a Democrat sycophant Hypocrite.?

In a roundabout way it ties in with writing a book.
What about what the MSM and supposed { free press } do every
hour of every day.Continuously write ad nauseam about Trump this
and Trump that.Does that require a high I.Q.
Or even an I.Q. ... Period.
