Please, one question out of curiosity... in which foreign language did you write that book you mentioned? Just the language, which shouldn't be too invasive a request....

So the fact that YOU got them, means that it is impossible that millions of Americans did NOT get them? I was unaware that what applies to you, also applies to 330 million Americans. Good to know. I'll be sure to consult you when I want to know what is going on with all other 329,999,999 Americans.

Do you happen to have health insurance? Yes? Great, that means that NO Americans are uninsured. Fabulous! And here I was, thinking that there are millions of uninsured. Silly me.
Do you earn more than $15 per hour? Yes? Great. What are these politicians talking about, trying to fix the minimum wage at $15? Not needed. Since you are the standard for ALL Americans, that means that all 330 million must make above $15 per hour.
Are you white? Yes? What are these people talking about, when they say there is racial divide here? It surely means all 330 million Americans are white.
And so on, and so forth.

And to think that your screen name is Logical. Ah, the irony...

If you promise you will never, even by accident, reveal it here in the open, I'll email the answer to a Private Message conversation. Promise?
Because I've disclosed too much personal info already. Given that my profile is a bit unique, if I keep doing it, at some point there is a risk, even if small, that someone will identify me.
I've seen it happening, to a colleague of mine, actually a very famous scientist. He posted anonymously. Someone doxxed his info, posted his real name, address, and pictures of his two daughters. The doxxer got banned (but was likely a sock) and he quit the board. I don't want the same to happen to me here. Some people are mean-spirited and get irritated at someone due to vigorous political debates, and might take retaliatory action against someone, if they knew the person's real name.

Although it seems certain we cannot agree about various political figures or issues, as I have said, I greatly appreciate your contributions to this Forum in the manner you have explained many topics related to the COVID virus.

Your expertise has been pivotal in two of our decisions about what to do, going forward, and I look forward to following your analyses and commentary. Thank you!

No, on second thought, don't reveal the language. The last thing I want to do is compromise you or make you feel uneasy in any way.

In the back of my mind I was hoping that, like myself, you were a German speaker, but it's not important that I know this.

Two annoying typos above that make some phrases a bit weird. Too late to correct. Anyway, FWIW, I meant to say "in fact it is true" and "I do find that with our high IQ."
Correcting, before someone says "for someone who claims a high IQ, your phrases seem off" LOL.

All excellent points. While I wont mention my IQ, it is quite high. It allowed me to solve problems in my chosen field much easier than many of my fellow employees. I was the go to guy when really difficult computer and machine problems came up.

Yet the left wants everyone equal to to the lowest common denominator. It is all part of the lefts dumbing down of the country. It is all part of their social justice, woke, imagined racist nonsense.

Yes, it's probably best not to reveal it. Because, by accident you might say it. I am sure if you did, it would be with no evil intent, but stuff happens.

In the past, I voluntarily left a forum I used to be a member of, because little by little I revealed so much personal info that it would have been very easy for someone who knew me in real life, to connect the dots and say "hey, I know this guy." So I ended up deleting my account and leaving for good. I didn't much like the place anyway (troll infested, shaky moderation) so no big loss. I do like it here though, so I don't want the same to happen here. But, me and my big mouth... I've been already little by little doing the same thing!

First, I was posting as just "a healthcare worker." Later I ended up revealing more about my training, about my work setting... about my dual nationality... about my children and where they went to school (partially; I didn't name the exact schools but gave hints), now I've revealed that I authored six non-fiction books in a non-medical field... and countless other small details here and there. A persistent troll might compose a rather complete profile... so, I should watch myself more, and should refrain from adding more to these revelations.

I agree. Since I spoke for Biden and again Trump here, many believe I'm a leftist or liberal. I'm not. All this woke stuff irritates me. I abhor the likes of Bernie Sanders and AOC. I used to be center-right, and still many of my beliefs are rightist, but Trump and the enabling GOP made of me, at least temporarily, center-left.

And by the way, I didn't mean to say that my son's IQ and mine are AT about 140. I said that about 140 is the cutoff for geniality, and ours is above that. I didn't say how above. If I were to say how above, people here would doubt it even more, LOL.

Were you going to give us a source for that Biden IQ of 124 you brought forth, or did you just pull that out of a 'nether region'...?

I'd really like to know because I cannot find anything credible. Hey, Joe might be a frickin' GENIUS for all I know....

YOUR biggest *LOSER* and "W" Bush both had LOWER IQ's than that but YOU never whined about them.

    Why was that?

YOUR biggest *LOSER* was thrashed by Biden in Manhattan, Queens and The Bronx.

Yet another rightwinger who successfully manages to OBFUSCATE his "high IQ" in the CONTENT of this posts on a regular basis.

But it RAISES an very interesting question,

WHY would anyone with a high IQ support a mental midget like the biggest *LOSER* and, more importantly, allow themselves to be DUPED by his endless LYING?

It is readily apparent that there is an INCONSISTENCY between the claims and the content.

he could be incompetent, but it is close enough for government work.

IQ is no longer a qualification standard due to affirmative action.

I believe that two-thirds of those digits are accurate, but that he added in a third one by accident. It's unclear which of those three digits was added in by mistake.

in the olden days high IQ was necessary for military service.

with all due respect, that is an American freedom fighter.

If you reread your OP, you will see that it does have the implication that there is a cover up going on, and that SURELY Biden had been tested. In these hyperpartisan times one can be forgiven for misinterpreting the intent of your thread. I think one could start by finding out if in fact IQ tests really were standard at the time. I don't think they were, but certainly ready to be proven wrong. A quick search didn't find anything on the tinterweb.

Which is to say... what...? I'm supposed to fear encounters with generations that can't balance a checkbook, can't do 4th-grade arithmetic in their heads, and have no idea of what is written in the Bill of Rights...? :roflol:

I've asked a question about Joe Biden's measured IQ. Then I was told that nobody in today's wonderous, erudite 'woke' circles, nobody pays attention to IQ tests anymore. :spin: . Yeah... as I look around me, I can actually believe that....

Fine, good, OK -- like millions of other property owners, I am merely tasked to PAY taxes to public school districts without having any real control over what they teach, or, whether or not they make any attempts to determine what kind of mental resources the students have.

But I should "up my game"...? Maybe, for the good of the country and all those poor, completely neglected students, these public 'schools' need to redirect their focus from 'social studies' back to an academic focus that enables students to function in the world, earn their own livings, and think for themselves!

Now, back on topic... so, nobody knows what ol' Joe's IQ is, or was, or anything. Amazing, considering that when he was a kid, it really was common for nearly ALL students to undergo IQ tests. I'm not nearly as old as Joe, but I am a 'Boomer', and I remember those IQ and 'aptitude' tests well.... It was a time when America cared about maximizing a student's potential, and not about 'go-along, get-along' political correctness nonsense....

As far as I could tell there are no official IQ results of Reagan, Carter, Bush, W Bush, Obama, Trump. The only certified result I have seen is Al Gore who clocked in at 133. I just don't think it was as prevalent as you remember, and I don't think this went down in people's 'permanent record'. And it is curious that you are zeroing in on Biden's results. Are you sure that the tests you took as a kid were actually bona fide IQ tests? do you remember your score? do you have acces to that score?

@Pollycy I did some Google Searches and found a poster in Quora claiming that Biden was never tested for IQ in his life (no link to a source). This poster also said that a study (without quoting it, but I did quote one in another unrelated thread, here) found that lawyers generally place between 115 and 130. Joe did graduate from law school but apparently near the bottom of his class. So it is fair game to suppose that his IQ is (or was) around 115. I expect that it has dropped some, given that it generally peaks at age 25 then people experience a small and slow decline as they age, and Biden has shown signs of age-related cognitive decline (although, again, I do not classify him as in the midst of clinically diagnosable true dementia, and dementia affects memory much more than IQ in terms of the actual IQ; dementia may affect the ability to perform well in a repeat IQ test, though). I'd say that all things considered, his IQ by now must be around 110; that is, smarter than average but not by much.

On another note, Biden had 2 neurosurgeries in 1998, one to treat a leaking aneurism, and another one to clip another, asymptomatic aneurism. Both surgeries went without incidents and did not affect his superior cortical features in any way, shape, or form. These aneurisms were at the base of his brain.

Biden's brain surgeon, Dr. Neal Kassel, has attested to the above in a 2019 interview.

That is what I find so intriguing about our current climate. It seems to me that there is a sizable number of Americans who clearly see through the games being played. It seems to me that the more intelligent one is, the more one knows, and the less likely one is to fall for BS.

I once heard someone say that the Trump was a poor man’s idea of a wealthy man, an ugly man’s idea of a lady’s man, and a dumb man’s idea of an intellectual.
