What penalty should a woman who has an abortion face?

An organism is not even so much as an incomplete person until its brain becomes capable of conscious sensation, which is something that happens in the second term of pregnancy, in the fifth month at the earliest. Therefore it is a ridiculous lie to say that killing an early-term fetus is 'murder', and more absurd still to say the same of a mere embryo, which does not even possess functional neurons.

But there are also some very good reasons to abort a fetus even in the later part of pregnancy when it is conscious. If a fetus has down's syndrome or some other severe defect, then it would be a crime against humanity to bring such an awful life into the world, and abortion should be mandatory in such cases, and women who knowingly bring such a life into the world should be punished. Also in cases of rape, where the rapist is passing on their sociopathic rapist genes, abortion should likewise be mandatory, and women who bring such offspring into the world should likewise be punished. There are also many cases in which truth-disrupting efficiency-disrupting sociopaths, who call abortion 'murder', call zygotes and embryos 'people', and who seek to make all abortion illegal, reproduce or attempt to reproduce, and thus pass on their innate sociopathy. In such cases, abortion should likewise be mandatory, though such sociopaths should be pre-emptively sterilized beforehand so that abortion is not necessary.

Abortion is murder due to my beliefs. But capital punishment is also murder due to my beliefs. So I could not in good conscious condemn the mother to death for her act. She should be prosecuted and so should the person who performed it. But if the option is make it illegal and have the mothers sentenced to death or keeping it legal, then I would choose keeping it legal and keep trying to change people's beliefs on the subject. Life is precious and that should be from inception to old age.

 

Obviously first degree murder if she thinks about it beforehand. Won't be long now and Biblical Law and Sharia Law can be merged into one volume.

Well it looks like the poll shows no one wants women charged for an abortion meaning they believe it not criminal, so much for the claims of the right-to-lifers.

All of that could be avoided if the man who perform was not aware of the <pro life> or the <pro choice> statuses, now if he would have opted for <prophylactics> instead, the whole fight for the criminality of <abortion> could be avoided and the question would be moot.

Indeed, but how to you get all sexually active men to wear a rubber when engaging in sex? The idea is grand but the practical application becomes problematic when one sees that it is all but impossible to control the sex life of millions of men.

 

The woman may also have reasons why she can't have the baby such as:
1. The child was created due to a sexual assault
2. She can't afford to raise the child
3. The male counterpart has chosen to not participate in raising the child

Now you might think that it's the woman's fault that she got herself pregnant when she can't raise the baby. What about the man who got her pregnant? Why did he not use a condom? When an abortion is executed, the fetus has not yet had its first heartbeat. It's not a living creature. The woman should have control over her own body.

Abortion is legal in the United States, and has been for decades. Therefore, the government should not punish women who have abortions.

Here's a more simple method, after your 2nd abortion (everybody deserves a 2nd chance) you are chemically castrated. Same thing with fathers who have multiple kids with multiple women and can not pay the child support.
