You forgot the part where the unvaxed get huge refunds on our health insurance that guarantees us the best care for what ever is wrong with us. If doctors were all you say they are, then they wouldn't need malpractice insurance. This is also why we absolutely "DON'T NEED" government run health care. It allows small minds with big egos to call the shots and we get what CF described above.

More ad hominem. Why don’t you make an intellectual argument or provide some data on profits or profit margins as a rebuttal?

Can you make any logical argument against the post?

Center, I am sorry I don't have much of a sense of humor about doctors treating patients to substandard care because they don't approve of a patients personal decisions.

Interesting to come back to this thread, given the changes since it was posted.

For convenience the tent should be next to a graveyard, which could double as a waiting room so people can come to their senses.

Yeh. In Massachusetts over 50% of patients hospitalized for Covid are fully vaccinated. It’s been hovering around the 54-55% of hospitalizations fully vaccinated for weeks. Nobody cares about them. Eff them. They’re vaccinated so who cares if they get sick or die. Virtue signaling with people’s lives.

Overall, 5,370,045 people or 78% of Massachusetts's population are considered fully vaccinated.

Around 90% of the most vulnerable are fully vaccinated (over 50's). So the stats in your post illustrate the benefit of being fully vaccinated

Ie Half of the hospitalised come from the 10% unvaccinated population

    And they are sicker

I watched the effects of vaccination real time here in NSW and Victorian stats - before vaccination 1:4 patients who were in hospital were in ICU - post vaccination that is 1:11 and fewer of those were ventilated. Yes there has still been deaths - one old dear was 103 years old and all I could think was “bless”

Please for the love of Pete, someone show me where I’ve argued there isn’t benefit to being vaccinated. Please!

My point, my only point, is that vaccination alone IS NOT sufficient to keep many out of the hospital and that we have MANY other mitigations proven by science to keep people out of the hospital WE ARE NOT USING or even informing the public about.

Would you like to address that point, or continue the strawman arguments you and others have presented in response to my posts? You are an intelligent poster. Please refrain from strawman arguments. It’s a waste of both our time. Or, if you think I’m accusing you falsely of fallacy you are more than welcome to provide a post of mine using the PF quote function where I claim vaccination is bad, should be avoided, or is not advantageous to many demographics.

Wound you like to quote me using the PF quotes function to show I’ve opposed vaccination or that it isn’t beneficial? Or would you like to continue arguing against a strawman instead of addressing the actual content of my posts?

Would you like to post something showing diet and exercise are NOT as effective as vaccination in preventing hospitalization? Would you like to post some study showing the harm from diet and exercise or why recommending or informing about their effects on Covid infection and severity should be avoided?

The trump admin took this head on with quarantines, travel bans, negotiating with manufacturers to mass produce personal protection equipment and ventilators, for pushing and fast tracking two vaccines in record time, and for Trumps general optimism and enthusiasm thru the dark days of not only the virus but the animosity and negativity coming from the political left. Oddly, the left has turned the matter into something resembling a religion, with they the high priests of righteousness. In short, Trump addressed the virus. The left uses the virus. Which is ironic considering they are the original deniers. Now they stand atop the Trump admins accomplishments and make proclamations. It is quite absurd.

It’s really quite interesting. Almost all of the studies I cite showing decreased infection and severe Covid resulting from simple healthy choices like diet and exercise have discussion sections where the authors advocate for inclusion of their findings in public health messaging. Curiously, the information is never disseminated by public health officials, politicians or media. And people who don’t need to die do die—needlessly.

The current crop of politicians, media and public health officials have made a mockery of science. In fact they are destroying science. Here’s my take on the whole modern science dynamic.

I believe Nietzsche formed the template for the best description of what has been done to science If I may parody what may be one of his most famous thoughts that turned out to be prophetic in the death of not only one, but now two institutions.

“Science is dead. Science remains dead. And we have killed it. How shall we comfort ourselves, the murderers of all murderers? What was holiest and mightiest of all that the world has yet owned has bled to death under our knives: who will wipe this blood off us? What water is there for us to clean ourselves? What festivals of atonement, what sacred games shall we have to invent? Is not the greatness of this deed too great for us? Must we ourselves not become progressives simply to appear worthy of it?”

Yes, the Enlightenment killed God. And replaced it with “science”. But when empirical evidence conflicted too much with our feelings and desire for control we had to kill science as well. Covid has clearly demonstrated this to be true.

For those who really do care about facts and individual human life, and are willing to use critical thought, consider: I am the madman. I have smashed my lantern in the street and this post is my pronouncement of requiem aeternam deo on science.

BULL, bull and PURE bull. Oh SUCH bull. Such pre and unmitigated LIES Trumpers tell.

It was very well known that something very much like this pandemic was coming. In 2016 several hospitals had a "drill' wherein they simulated such a pandemic to see what might happen. It was a very sobering exercise to all the participants, including then President Elect Donald Trump

When Trump became president in 2017 one of the first things he did was to DISMANTLE the Office of Pandemic Awareness, which had sponsored the simulation

Once Covid started in 2019 There was one nation, South Korea, which followed the protocols which had been recommended by our then defunct OPA and were generally recommended by the scientific community. Their results were such that scarcely 17.000 deaths, out of 50 millions, have been suffered by S Korea to this day.

Trump strenuously opposed doing anything about the pandemic until the Congress acted independently of him. Even afterwards he actually tried to stop all the lifesaving efforts, until he started to take credit for them.

Trump flat out MURDERED almost a million Americans, to satisfy his own ego which had been so wrong about the disease

I gotta tell you alex, we watched the same movie in the same theater and I don't know how we got such widely different story lines from it.

    His facts are correct.

I wouldn't put the number at a million, but there is no doubt that if he had done his job, hundreds of thousands of deaths could have been avoided.

I have posted all the crap Trump pulled dozens of times, literally, while it was happening. It's an ugly story.

You can have your crazy, you can't just make sh*t up.

If you're truly a licensed medical professional I wouldn't trust you to treat a hang-nail. I'm a professional patient who has been through more doctors and nurses than most people will in their entire life, and I've never, NEVER seen a doc or nurse who would treat a patient as you suggest. First do no harm jackass.
