2. I am an ex-New Yorker with relatives who still live there. I went to college in Harlem, the largest Black ghetto in America. I know all about stop and frisk. I can tell you that Blacks in Harlem, Bed-Sty, and the South Bronx, all like S & F, if not love it. Why ? Because they're the number 1 victims of Black crime in New York. Ask Blacks in the high crime neighborhoods and they (especially the older Blacks) will tell you why they like it. Because it's a good deterrent, that keeps the criminals from walking around with illegal guns. if I lived there, I'd like it too. What would you want to do ? Give the criminals the idea they can walk around with guns in their pockets, and it's no problem for them ?

 

They don't love stop and frisk, and if they do their ignorant. Why would anyone give up their liberties to catch bad guys?

The economically challenged areas are vulnerable to racist government policies like that, what if whites were stopped for no other reason in middle class suburbia, or wealthy neighborhoods where the wall street traders live.

It is a FALSE premise to talk about Whites in middle class suburbia, or wealthy neighborhoods. That's not where the gun-toting criminals are. As we used to say in college >> form follows function. If people aren't walking around carrying guns illegally and using them in crime, there's no need for stop & frisk. In the crime-ridden Black communities, where people are victimized much more often, S & F has a valid function to help protect those Black potential crime victims, and they are grateful for it, as they should be.
