Whitney Houston is Dead

It really is too bad that some of the commentary here is as inhumane and cold as it tends to be on political topics.

Even so, the work/voice of Whitney Houston touched and enriched many. I hope and pray that her family will hold up reasonably well and be comforted.

She was a troubled woman, yet one of the greatest musical artists to bless humanity.

She wasnt that good. Probably the wrong choice to seek compassion on a political forum but people want the gory details. When a public figure dies like this the media make huge profits selling the story. Easier reading it here first.

That's nasty. An accidental overdose could happen to anyone who has prescriptions and takes the wrong thing at the wrong time, in the wrong amount and with the wrong food or drinks.

It's OK the first couple of times you hear it.

But #10 through 500 gets a little old.

It's okay. It is the things like this, where many let down their guard and reveal their character in certain ways. I think of it as 'good' or 'accurate' labeling on the package that is the person.

Also depends if a fan of her music. Of course it is sad when anyone dies but if have no emotional connection to her work then hard to be concerned.

Nope never....Usually the only people who have reactions to aspirin are children who get Reye Syndrome. Once you're an adult it is almost non existent. Trust me if this was a big problem aspirin would not be over the counter.

I think she was very creative and wrote most do her own songs.

She only left 3 or 4 really good songs but I think they will be very influential and give her a legacy.

Houston is OK too but more timely than timeless if you know what I mean.

it's taking so long for the details to come out it's making me wonder if there isn't something a little embarrassing or scandalous attached to this.

Generally the media is falling all over themselves feeding up misinformation and lies and innuendo if nothing else.
