I saw this on news a little bit ago...... beautiful singer, beautiful woman and what a messed up life she fell into...... The last I heard, she had really gotten into drugs - With her $, she could have afforded the best of rehab to get her life back on track... what a shame!
I can only imagine what the posts look like over at Stormfront. Why don't you keep your racist cowardly comments over there.
I was never a fan of hers, but she was headed on a destructive path.Actually it was Fame and Fortune that killed her. With all that Fame & Fortune comes temptation and hangers-on.I mean, she probably didn't know what it was like to simply enjoy a quite night alone with a book or her thoughts. She was doomed by virtue of celebrity. Happens all the time. There need be some course for those celebrity to learn how to keep things in check. That is what family is for. Or truly good friends. I think she let herself get swallowed up in Celebrity. It is an easy temptation.Like winning a big Lotto.
Jim Morrison died in a tub.In Paris.Supposedly he drank too much.He was a notorious drinker. But he started up on Heroin. Was seen partying in Paris in an underground club. Appaently he wasn't aware that his new addiction { Heroin } had some peculiar drawbacks. One being that it could kinda cramp his tendency to get moody and start drinking like a drunken sailor on shore leave. Chris Farley made the same mistake also.
SBB, that was uncalled for. I haven't said one single thing unkind about her in this entire thread. At this point we're all wondering what happened. I posted a news story about her from last week. It IS newsworthy. There were more pics in the news article than what I posted. I made the last pic a nice one at my choosing. I'm sorry she died. It's sad. Your personal attack on me was ill tempered and unnecessary.
Whitney Houston squandered a blessed life by turning to drugs and wasting the gift she had. I have no sympathy for her whatsoever. God should give talent like she had to someone more deserving.
I'm sure Hollywood and the music industry will give her a huge, "Wasn't she the greatest" hoopla. But what they should be saying is....."Kids, this is what drug abuse does to you; you die young; and you waste your life." She was given a truly God-given talent; a beautiful voice....but she threw it all out the window for snorts up her nose and worse. A wasted llfe. A wasted gift.
Have a friend staying at that hotel. Said Whitney had been in the bar/restaurant since 8am chugging alchohol. Eyes unfocused, skin gray, so hoarse she could barely order her next adult beverage. Probably made it back to the room and died there.
Drugs and alcohol or just alcohol, too much in susceptible indivuals. In any event, so young a person dying is a tragedy.
...... I think we should all rejoice that Houston is now in heaven jammin' with Michael Jackson, Jimi Hendrix, Janice Joplin, Jim Morrison, and all the musical geniuses of our lifetimes. Being in public life has got to be frustrating, but when you marry a loser like Bobby Brown, something has gotta give....
I absolutely agree..... WH was blessed w/beauty and an incredible talent AND a lovely daughter ... Presley, Jackson, Whitehouse and others ....... all gone due to drugs. Anna Nicole Smith didn't have any talent for anything, but she still blew her life away b/c of drugs....
Are you angry because the photographers took her picture or because Houston was so obviously messed up? Both, I'm guessing. Just like Elvis fans will have to live with the image of a bloated, sweaty Elvis dying on his toilet, so you will have to endure pictures of W. Houston just being W. Houston. Her life and death are a cautionary tale. Let's not take your anger out on people that get the message.
