Now that the fireworks are over who won and who lost last night in Miami?

For me, IMHO, Harris owned the stage after her "food fight" commentary that made the participants lie down like obedient puppies that just had their nose slapped. As the debate wore on, Pete Buttigieg was awarded half the stage with Harris. This guy is pitch perfect and even had half the participants referencing him as a source of good advice.

Bernie became irrelevant and Biden ended up being a stand in for Trump to demonstrate how it wold look when Harris tore him to bloody ribbons. After that, it was turn out the lights for those other guys on stage. Damn! it was good!

What stood out? Much more spending, much higher taxes, free healthcare for all illegals, no deportation for those here illegally, no stopping anyone at the border, free stuff, free stuff, free stuff, oh, and Harris and Biden fighting about busing.

Thank God I don't drink or I would have ended up in the emergency ward if I took one for every time one said free.

They were all good candidates to be easily beat by Trump.

I think that Buttigieg, Harris, and Gillibrand did well. But I would agree that the standout moment was when Harris and Biden got into it. I've never been a fan of Biden, and I think his performance shows why. He was defensive and angry, and I'm not so sure he was being entirely honest. He is almost an embarrassment. A common theme throughout the debate, was the need for the younger generation to take control. Which I agree. The Republican Party is the party of tired old people. The Democratic Party is full of energetic youngsters.

Also in the debate, was the subject of the ACA. Amongst the candidates, was the discussion between the Senators, of the fixes. It seems the direction is towards offering a public option, which is what the House version of the ACA called for. Also a big concern is repairing the damage Dear Leader has done to our country vis-a-vis his incompetence at international relationships.

You just made that all up, didn't you? You didn't even watch the debate, did you?

Who, exactly, promised "free stuff"? What did they promise that was "free"? Not like Trump promised a free wall to the American people.

Harris 's attack on Biden sure didn't do anything to help get rid of Trump. She appeared as petty and emotional as Trump.

The last thing Democrats need is vicious infighting over personal feelings....

Her food fight comment seemed very rehearsed...and phony after attacking Biden...

I did but evidently you didn't. Free 1K a month to everyone, free healthcare for illegals, free tuition, etc.. I call it a free for all with the emphasis on free.

Harris did well until she stooped to Trump's level.

    Gillibrand was calm and sensible....

As to age ….who wins elections? With a very few exceptions, old white guys. Do I wish Biden was younger? Yes. Do I dismiss his years of service and accomplishments, his connections and power? No. And Harris shouldn't either.

If Harris, and other candidates, want to help Americans they need to put their egos aside and back whoever can beat Trump.

When the mood strikes me, I am quite the social butterfly. Part of that is in recognizing and dealing with different personality types, and playing off of them. Nonetheless, I am quite certain that Trump is playable. Not from the sycophants he surrounds himself with, but others with strong personalities, certainly. The problem with Hillary is that she just didn't have the social skills to push him around in a debate. We have already seen him go weak when Nancy Pelosi went mean girl on him. Kamala Harris has shown she has the chops to knock old Donald around.

I have problems believing that the majority of the American people are so off as to think that Trump has been good for our country.

Who exactly promised all that stuff? Who said it would be “free”? Did any candidate even use that word?

In town halls Harris didn't impress me. But last night, she turned me around. She spoke directly to questions and showed strength.

I also like Bennett and Mayor Pete, but I don't see either as electable. I really liked Yang's directness and demeanor as well - but likewise, unelectable. I don't think that this nominee will be chosen for their platform...first and foremost, they have to be able to go toe to toe with Trump.

So you are going to go down the line of being obtuse.

Like the democrats say they are not for open borders but say, like last night, that anyone should not be stopped from entering the country and no one here illegally should be deported, but they are not for open borders.

What do you mean stooped to Trump's level? Harris argued with policy positions. Trump just insults.

From the highlights I saw, Trump was the clear winner. Not a single decent leader who cares about the American people, just a black woman playing the race card and everyone putting illegals ahead of American citizens who they are sworn to protect.

Frankly, the Democrats need a new barrel of candidates to sort through. None of them are fit for office.

Trump is the only clear winner. 10 of the clowns I saw over the past 2 nights shouldn't have even been on their stage.

And Harris attacked Biden viciously with no thought to how it looked or what effect it would have on defeating Trump.

Trump doesn't just insult, he doesn't think, he attacks....as did Harris.

Harris was quite two faced when she pompously claimed this wasn't a food fight and them threw garbage at Biden.

NO Democrat candidate will win if they attack each other. IF they truly are thinking of Americans and getting them out from under the scourge of Trump they will support and defend each other.

I am NOT saying they should agree on every point but vicious attacks on each other will get Trump re-elected.

If Harris is the best your side has to offer, this country is in for real, trouble. Odds are we won't see another minority president for quite some time though.

Biden isn't a racist. And Harris won't win by running on the platform : "I'm black".

You should go look at the Republican debates with Trump. It sound more like a wrestling smack down. By comparison Harris was very civil. Besides Biden isn't that good of a candidate.
