At that point in my life I didn't know (or knowingly) know any Jewish people but I always had the belief that most people are good people. Don't laugh...It was an independent study course so I didn't have to go to a classroom. I called my professor in tears because I could not grasp the level of hatred, animosity, cruelty, etc. that would/could lead to so many people doing the unthinkable to other human beings. And, right now, today, I can't grasp the level of hatred, animosity, cruelty, etc. of people willing to rationalize Trump's many, many many, crimes and obvious immorality and unethical standard operating procedure. You could come here and drop me to my knees with a whisper as I am beyond floored, disappointed and ashamed of some of our fellow Americans. I would have never dreamed that we would be facing this nightmare as a country. I would have lost that bet...bigly.

Nazi Germany began their genocide against the Jews starting in 1933. Hitler and company ended up murdering around 2/3 of the Jewish population in Europe. That is staggering.

I do not think anyone in here is denying the atrocities committed by the Nazis. And this also includes the atrocities committed against the disabled and homosexual Germans and non-Germans. I think the American soldiers accounts of finding the concentration camps and the few survivors, speak volumes about the genocide that was committed by the Nazis against the Jews.
