Why do Fauci and Gates spread fear and desire long lockdowns?

    "Individual aggrandizement"? :roflol:

Fauci can influence billions of dollars of spending for particular efforts. And he does get enormous respect from 35 years of his efforts.

If he was truly heavily interested in money and personal aggrandizement, I suspect we wouldn't have sneaky peeks to see him with a couple friends on a regular sports seat in a mid-level row watching a sports game with few people around.

Your whole supposition is ridiculous, at least as far as real scientists. I suggest checking in on the Republican groups and see about REAL "personal aggrandizement" looks like.

Remember, lockdowns would be less necessary if the folks who spend all their time bitching about them instead used that time and influence to encourage folks to take the courses of action that help make lockdowns less necessary.

You never, ever, see some type of the following statement.

"These lockdowns are government overreach and they are hurting small businesses and destroying lives and I stand in total opposition to this government control. People, put your masks on, social distance, wash your hands, and take every other step possible so that we don't have lockdowns."

Nope, it's purely about the effect on their businesses or their routines. It's always so one-sided. Occasionally they will throw in a token "I know the virus is serious, but..." or, perhaps the more telling, "I believe the virus is real, but....".

If you don't want lockdowns, spend your time encouraging people to do the things that make lockdowns less necessary!

The virus is as harmful as the flu virus.

Why didn't we go through all this silliness for the flu virus every year?

Because this event was planned for effect.

This conspiracy theory could not be more profoundly STUPID.

There is absolutely ZERO possibility of pulling off a conspiracy of this magnitude throughout both science and politics and covering the entire globe.

Plus, world wide verified COVID deaths are 4 to 6 times higher than yearly flu deaths even before accounting for what epidemiologists point out is a massive undercount of COVID mortality.

I could agree with you and we would both be wrong.

The case for conspiracy is so solid that you and others refuse to view the material, including that recorded a year ago at Johns Hopkins regarding Event 201.

That you won't even watch it shows how solid the case is.

There are many against lockdowns because the government has been so utterly incompetent at getting relief money into people's hands. Being forced to choose between bankruptcy and risking health, many choose risking health.

I think the virus has already mutated. So, today's shot won't help with tomorrow's strain.
We're doing an annual new shot with the flu. Guess this will follow. In theory though, if we are going to hide from a bug till there's a cure, we're going to be locked down forever. And that may be the point.

Another more relevant point is that the vaccine manufacturers will be quite profitable.

On that I agree with you completely. State legislatures and the federal government have been extremely lackluster in the support they are giving to folks who are being asked to do extraordinarily difficult things. My point still stands that folks who oppose lockdowns, for whatever reasons they may have, should be at the forefront of those encouraging others to take this seriously, but that would me much easier for these folks to do if our governments could get their **** together.

~ Government beaurucrats have no idea what to do. They push their authority around to appear useful in order to justify their existence. Fauci does not know what he's doing. CDC does not know what they are doing. WHO does not care what they are doing. The more restrictions the worse things get. The virus will run its course like all virus. Big difference is we have several vaccines quickly that should help.

Because there are mountains of evidence showing this to be a planned event, including that the CARES Act was hatched a year prior to "the crisis", government bureaucrats know exactly what they are doing. They are enhancing their various bureaus and thus their job security.

The men and women of the World Economic Forum in Davos know exactly what they are doing--plundering the US Treasury.

Well there is your problem right there

    Faux news

    A) not all the vulnerable are over 65 and
    B) if you think you can even get that cohort vaccinated by Jan you have to be dreaming

Yep, life is a risk. But smart people do all they can to mitigate the risk. Certain sports and activities now have protective gear. Vehicles have seatbelts. Babies and young children are put in car seats. The list is endless. But I suppose all those things are for 'whoosies'.

"Researching" manipulated numbers and drawing "conclusions" is nothing to brag about in public, unless, of course, one works for MSM.

That they interviewed her at all is absurd as a knowledgeable person about a pandemic. She has degrees in computers and an MBA in business. Not one second of her education or life experience has anything to do with viruses, pandemic or anything else relevant.

You have no concept of the astronomical sums of money Gates is making off worldwide lockdowns, do you?

And, there are hundreds of thousand more tying of cancer and heart disease each year than Covid19. What's different is where the vast majority of people die from Covid19 than cancer and heart disease. Yet, I doubt you have posted one thing on this or any other forum about the causes of cancer and heart disease. With your logic and reasoning, we should shut down all restaurants and anything to do with the causes of cancer and heart disease. While death is tragic, it happens. Death and taxes are the two things that are 100% going to happen in life. That doesn't mean we shut down everything and live in poverty where way more people will die.

A wise man once said, "Give me liberty or give me death." while going into battle where the likelihood of dying was very high. Death is all around. But, life without liberty and freedom is the same as slavery. There are degrees of slavery like what was in the South in 1800 and indentured servitude in the North and West. Then, there is California, Oregon, Washington St and New York. Enslaved by taxation and regulation tyranny. Less liberty and freedom, more slavery. These lockdowns are tyranny. We can open up the country to liberty and freedom while protecting the most vulnerable. It's not rocket science.

IF the TWONK in chief had followed the pandemic rulebook from the beginning you could have saved yourselves a whole world of pain

The lockdowns could have been localised to minimise economic impact and you would not now have overflowing hospitals

You say you saw it on fox news. That should have been your first hint that you were, in fact, filling your mind with crap.

No one "wants lockdowns." But, since we're not actually locked down anywhere in the country then you're actually whining about nothing.

    Are you getting it now?
You're following the politics and trying to make scientific decisions based on politics.
Seems you guys just can't learn.

You don't "catch" cancer or heart disease from some arsewipe who refused to wear a mask and coughed on the bus. But by all means try the virtue shaming defense of your truly ugly attitude.

Slavery and tyranny through taxation and regulation? I agree that ain't rocket science. Gotta admit it sounds more like paranoid delusion to me, but hey, a chacun son gout.
