Why hasn't the Nashville school shooter's manifesto been released like all of the others?

wray is a repub, appointed by trump. nearly all fbi directors have been repub, and their hiring practices reflect their opinions of "security risk."

Not really the same situation. Kaczynski had mailed his "manifesto" to the media saying he'd stop his campaign if it was published. The media did consult with the FBI and there was understandably different opinions on whether it should have been published or not. It ultimately was, but the primary intention of the FBI was that it would help identify and catch the bomber (which did work).

Obviously the media could have chosen to simply publish anyway (though the practicalities were more difficult in the pre-internet days). Had it not been published prior to his arrest, I'm not convinced it would have been officially released other than where it could have been evidence in any subsequent court case, though it presumably could have still been released and/or sold by his descendants at some point if they had so chosen.

 

I am sure they will release this Christian Student's Manifesto eventually

That would fall under the category of 'ties an establishment narrative inconveniently to violence'. If for example a Trumper called other Trumpers to go on shooting sprees, we wouldn't hear the end of it.

I believe we have proven that the 2 tier justice system is exactly that, TWO TIER

The left has actually been spinning this as the shooter who is the victim.
We now know they don't take dead Children seriously unless the children are not Christian
Also, I believe one of the adult victims was black (another reason they want to shelter it from the public)

In all honesty. I think the effect of suppressing it and the BIASED message it sends is way worse and way more inciteful than anything in the manifesto could be. I mean nobody is expecting it to say nice things.

People keep making that assertion and yet nobody has been able to give a single example of any mass-shooters "manifesto" being released by the authorities (rather than by the shooter themselves or as part of the legal process). Do you want to give it a shot?

 

And you don't find it unusual/suspicious at all that regardless of HOW they get into public knowledge, they DO become public?

 

I think the right away portal has been crossed. I'm noticing that lefties are tending to say "no big deal" a lot. This really isn't a partisan issue IMHO. When a cop shotting occurs, for instants, lefties are screaming like scalded cats for the body cam footage before the gun smoke has cleared. Cop transparency works both ways. If there is a reason to withhold disclosure, fine, otherwise make it public

Only the ones that become public knowledge by definition though. I expect a lot of killers, especially those who plan to die themselves, will leave some kind of notes or writings behind but they generally wont be (indeed, possibly can't legally be) released to the public by the authorities.

This case actually seems to be being treated more openly since some commentary around this "manifesto" has been released and/or leaked and apparently the whole thing is due to be released at some point.

 

It likely contains step by step instructions for other attacks.
