So to be perfectly clear here, you're saying that the Nashville Police Department's plan is to fabricate the evidence, and release a fake manifesto(regardless of the legal risks), because they are political activists looking to control the narrative?

 

I don't need a lesson on communication from you. You communicate the way you wish and I'll do the same. Armed folks do prevent crimes, that's why guards, police, secret service, border patrol and everyday citizens are armed.

There has never been a school shooting where school staff are armed. Shooters have deliberately avoided attacking sites where folks may be armed in favor of those where it was less likely to be armed. The only school shooting that has ever occured was when anyone was armed, was a single armed police office in Broward County, the Coward of Broward, ran and hid rather than engaging the shooter.

Another thing that works are solid fencing, metal detectors, and tightly controlled admission.

Shelby County for example, has one of the most violent cities in the nation, all their schools are protected in this manner and they have never had a school shooting.

No not at all. Just that it is possible. Governments have done far worse throughout history.

 

Possible and probable are two very different things. Governments have a tendency to do worse when there is an incentive to do so, and authority is centralized. Typically when governments lie, it is to cover up or justify their own actions.

As for the Nashville shooting, you have multiple powers investigating the incident, and there doesn't appear to be an incentive from any of them to cover up or justify anything they've done. It certainly isn't impossible that they would fabricate evidence for other purposes, it just doesn't seem to be probable. We're literally talking about a situation where they would be lying not for their own self interest, but would in fact be risking their own self interest for someone else's interest.
