and replaced with constitutional carry or shall issue to get rid of corruption https://www.nraila.org/articles/201...nal+Rifle+Association+of+America&sf75486640=1
This one amazes me... no potential for corruption or capricious denial, eh? http://www.foxnews.com/us/2016/01/2...-new-essay-rule-for-gun-carry-applicants.html
Treason to me... most that take political office take an oath to uphold state and federal Constitutions and then promptly work to subvert them.
yep, those scummy cops and politicians should be disbarred from every being issued guns or the ability to carry them for that nonsense
Scalia in his write-up of Heller did not go very far. He just settled the issue that DC must issue Heller a permit to own a gun in his home. So there really is no SCOTUS law on this question yet. My state does not want yahoo's from other states to come in from states that have no reciprocity with us. The legislature just voted on it and the Governor let it die in committee. That is the will of the Legislature as vetoed by the Governor. 10th Amendment.
I'm for Constitutional Carry. If someone intentionally commits a violent crime with any weapon, then they should be hammered by the courts and thrown into irons. Those that are found guilty of too many, or too horrific violent crimes should be executed. That was the policy in 1789, and that should be the policy today. No need for gun control.
If a state adopted "may issue" licenses for abortions, the screams from the left would be heard on the moon.
So many times I have seen hot chicks with guns that do the same thing. I take notice of their poor finger discipline and then I ask myself why am I not taking notice of her hotness but rather her gun handling. Whats wrong with me?
We have two brains, the upper and the lower...sometimes the one leads us into danger... been there. Interestingly, I find finger discipline an issue even with seasoned shooters, many wielding Glocks. A very different thing on the range vs in the Wild when adrenaline is surging. My Da literally beat the the concept of the finger safety into me at a very young age, even with my toy cap guns. Not sure your experience, but on a slightly different topic... I have often noted when teaching the mechanics of trigger pull to students, that women often learn more quickly than men (if they have a platform that allows a proper grip). I have often bemused on this, and while I may be wrong, it seems that one of the differerences is that men power through things with certain expectations of gun mastery from the get go where women are much more subtle and often surprised they can do well. I usually refrain from gender judgements, but noted when training my girls, they became excellent with marksmanship very quickly and some of the best precision shooters I have trained have been women. My youngest was/is amazing...she can hit aspirins every time with open sights with her Anschutz at distances where I can't even see them...at 25 yards she shoots a blank piece of paper and then uses the first hole as her target... can you see a .22 hole at 25 yards? I can't. She was doing that at 12-13... takes excellent trigger/breath control. Both my girls carry, both are good, they also have very good martial arts training and both good situational awareness that is rare to see, and not something I specifically taught them... seems to have developed naturally. Am I biased... you bet!
And yet the federal government apparently has the authority to mandate that all states recognize homosexual marriage, despite such never being mentioned in the united states constitution.
filibuster and call for cloture vote, same thing we now have a "silent filibuster" which doesn't require actual speaking.
