They also don't have Rights.....................they are ruled, lock stock and barrel by their tyrannical governments. Heck, in one country,B-day parties are outlawed in public places...................nice, real nice Tell me, Who's Rights have I violated? and what Rights were those?
just so we are on the same page, why is it so hard for re loaders to get primers at this time??? We have had an order in since Nov. and still can't get them. Why is it so hard to get 7MM bullets?? Etc, etc, etc. Have you any explanation for it?? And this is the first time in the history of hand loading that I know of that 5 months have elapsed and still no primers.
We spend about $14,000 per year per student, if the schools need more than that then we need new administrators, not more money. And, YES, only about 45% of that reaches the school rooms, the rest is spent on school administrators.
Go ask him; The United States has the most powerful military in the world, comprised of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard. If that formidable military is insufficient to defend America, then nothing is. Despite that, Barack Obama uttered these astonishing words during the 2008 presidential campaign. On July 2, 2008, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the POS deviated from his pre-released speech script and said the following: We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that weve set. Weve got to have a civilian national security force thats just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded. - - - Updated - - - Very few of the bad guys have any 2nd Amendment rights left. They throw them away with their first felony.
That quote needs to be brought to a wider audience. Maybe devote an entire thread to it. Although, the best time to have done that might have been when the Govt. ammo purchase was made known to the public.
Sorry but you have to pass the same background checks from any dealer at a gun show as you do in their stores.
Well first let's see if the Government IS buying 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition. ""The Denver Post, on February 15th, ran an Associated Press article entitled Homeland Security aims to buy 1.6b rounds of ammo, so far to little notice. It confirmed that the Department of Homeland Security has issued an open purchase order for 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition. As reported elsewhere, some of this purchase order is for hollow-point rounds, forbidden by international law for use in war, along with a frightening amount specialized for snipers. Also reported elsewhere, at the height of the Iraq War the Army was expending less than 6 million rounds a month. Therefore 1.6 billion rounds would be enough to sustain a hot war for 20+ years. In America."" Yep, i would say the Government IS buy 1.6 billion rounds of Ammunition. The next question is why. Here's an explanation they sent to Senator Tom Coburn (R-Okla.) about it ""The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has responded to a letter dated November 13, 2012 from Senator Tom Coburn (R-Okla.) regarding the agency's ammunition purchases. Sen. Coburn published the response on the U.S. Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs website yesterday, April 1, 2013. The response, dated February 4, 2013, says that DHS buys ammunition in bulk to "significantly lower costs." The letter states: "DHS routinely establishes strategic sourcing contracts that combine the requirements of all its Components for commonly purchased goods and services such as ammunition, computer equipment and information technology services. These strategic sourcing contracts help leverage the purchasing power of DHS to efficiently procure equipment and supplies at significantly lower costs." While it has been previously reported that DHS has solicited the purchase of 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition over the next four to five years, the government agency shows only 263,733,362 rounds in its current inventory. But, DHS estimates it will spend $37,263,698 on ammunition in FY 2013. Last year, DHS spent $36,535,910, a decrease from 2011's ammunition expense of $38,237,305. Also, over the last three years the number of rounds purchased by DHS has declined."" And we believe this??? Let's look at their figures ""In 2010, the agency purchased 148,314,825 rounds. In 2011, 108,664,054 rounds were purchased; and in 2012, 103,178,200 rounds."" So, for 3 years they used 360,157,079 rounds and now they are buying 4.44 times more for 5 years than they used in 3 years, right??? Ya, right. Then we have; "" DHS To Buy 360,000 More Rounds of Hollow Point Ammunition"" Paul Joseph Watson Infowars.com March 25, 2013 Now it's over 5 times as much; DHS excuse for buying billions of rounds of ammo exposed as yet another blatant lie The Alex Jones Channel Alex Jones Show podcast Prison Planet TV Infowars.com Twitter Alex Jones' Facebook Infowars store Mike Adams Natural News April 3, 2013 ""Responding to a letter from Sen. Tom Coburn, the Department of Homeland Security an agency that has no business being armed in the first place says its buying billions of rounds of ammunition in order to significantly lower costs. Its all about saving money, you see. DHS isnt arming up in anticipation of a shooting war on the streets of America, and its not buying thousands of armored assault vehicles for that purpose either. No, DHS is only buying all this ammo to save you money! This response by DHS, of course, is an obvious lie. Why? Because a significant portion of the bullet purchases specify hollow point rounds. In case you didnt know, hollow points are significantly MORE expensive than ball ammo (FMJ). Under the Geneva convention, hollow points are illegal to use in war because they cause far greater tissue damage, too. So they can only be used domestically, inside the United States in a civil action, not an international war. ""
So you agree banning 30 round magazines is fruitless because the average American citizen might need more when defending their lives like an LEO...eh?
All it takes is one perfectly aimed shot into the center of the forehead and the perp will definitely drop.
LOL tell you what...sprint 100 yards, do 20 pushups, 50 jumping jacks, take a couple shots of whiskey and then attempt a "perfectly aimed shot" Please report back here how that went. sheesh funny how everyone thinks everything happens in a perfect vacuum. WOW just WOW
Tyrannical ??? Jersus christ you sound insane! Tyrannical? Ha! In your country you can get life for cannabis possession with the 3 strikes law, and you want to talk to me about tyrannical ? 1 %, one percent ONE PERCENT of your population is incarcerated!!!! In private prisons, incarcerated for cash, bribes and back handers to your politicians. And you think my government is tyrannical? There's a coffee shop 30m from my front door, I'm free to walk in and buy pot, I can smoke it pretty much anywhere and the police won't bother. Tyrannical? You are having a laugh mate! - - - Updated - - - Fox news and the idiotic paranoid fringe right wing media have wound you fellas up to such a state, that you've all gone out and bought all the ammunition? Just a guess.
And just look at what you've achieved! A bunch of ill-educated, right wing morons, who vote for laws which support the uber rich and repress everyone else. People who believe that Obama is an African, Muslim, Communist, actually believe it! Your country is the most corrupt of the top tier nations on the planet.
so freedom and liberty means you can get trashed when ever you want? If that is what it means to you, that's real sad...you have no idea what a Right is
Shooting tests to require carrying simple firearms is an infringement on a sacred right. Not even the world's best gunfighters could have stopped that guy with one shot in the same circumstances. What an ignorant statement.
I have been to many "gun game" competitions, such as USTRA (US Tactical Rifle), USPSA (United States Practical Shooting Sports Association), IDPA (International Defensive Pistol Association), and a few others. Even the *BEST* shooters out there miss sometimes, and it is all on a non-threat range with non-moving targets where the only thing you are battling is the timer. Your shot group grows significantly when you have the other person shooting back at you. If you have no direct experience with a living, breathing, thinking, dangerous human on the other side, you have no real room to talk about accuracy standards. I have trained with and against real people and I consider myself a very good shot. Most people that train with the best, Larry Vickers; Massad Ayoob; Travis Haley; Chris Costa; all experience the exact same thing. As soon as you get a pistol in your hand and are confronted with one or more threatening targets, and you get the shakes and simple actions like lifting your shirt give you trouble, then you can talk about combat accuracy. Until then, you aren't even an internet commando; just someone that makes comments about impossible standards in a vacuum environment and expecting everyone to meet or exceed those standards.
Enough ammunition for twenty years of faluja intensity warfare? One hundred and thirty six years of training? Use common sense.
All the more reason why only those who are proficient and don't react like you described when using a sidearm should be allowed to carry.
Pretending to be a self-defense expert again? Have you partipated in any self-defense courses? Tactical rifle? Tactical handgun? What? What was that? No? Then why do you continue with such deliberate ignorance?
