Since gamewell45 refuses to answer because he/she knows nothing, here it is, the current range officers practice with their sidearms is 25 yards. 45 years ago it was 60 yards. The current sidearm most departments carry is a .40 Cal.. 45 years ago it was either a .38 special or .357 Mag. The change came because statistics showed that most shootouts took place within 25 yards or less. The usual accurate range of the .40 (depending on the weapon, make and model) is around 50 yards, .......... if your lucky. 45 years ago with a .357 Mag from 100 to 125 yards, .38 Special from 75 to 100 yards. So much for your, "Do they do any studies?"", nonsense. OF COURSE THEY HAVE STUDIES!!!
When I tell you that you and I will have to agree to disagree on a thread all discussion is done for the thread so do not attempt to continue the discussion. You'll have to wait for another thread to debate with me.
You can place me on ignore but I will still say what is true regardless of your, "We will have to agree to disagree", comment. The truth is what matters, not an opinion.
As i said, those with out a place to stand usually shut up. You can't match my law enforcement experience, you can't match the number of years I've handled weapons but you want to give an opinion that if so far out in left field that your out of the ball and don't want anyone to call you on it. That's like these nutcases calling an AR-15 an ASSAULT Weapon. Anyone that does that knows NOTHING about guns and I will tell them so. As I told you, I have only handled weapons for 60 years and I KNOW what an assault weapon is.
Gamewell speaks with the authority of someone who is a seasoned veteran of years of VIDEO GAMING (as his nic suggests). He can't understand the difference between a shootout on the TV screen in his mom's basement with a can of Red Bull and a bag of Cheetos and a real life shootout. Don't waste any keystrokes on silly kids like that.
"Your" = Something that belongs to you. "Your mouth is writing checks your ass can't cash." You're = You are. "You're a joke." Grammar lesson for today. Now, back to the thread topic. Please tell us, what's your favorite shoot em up video game?
Even after I showed you the correct useage?!? Oh well... Stay just as you are. Proudly and persistently ignorant.
