Why should people be forced to get the vaccine in order to protect others who choose not to get it?

What I said is ABSOLUTELY what the Trump administration did.

The reason I posted that is that this guy Hoosier was blaming Obama for those acts, when they were NOT Obama's acts - they were Trump's acts, and in one case the acts of the Republican party.

As to the deaths, Trump's actions denied PPE at a time when it was critical. We lost first responders, including nurses and doctors who came out of retirement to help - knowing full well that they were members of the highest risk age group. They were required to wear the same mask for at least a WEEK, when proper protocol was to change masks more than once a day.

 

There was no "maneuvering".

I posted specific historic facts that pertained directly to the charges Hoosier made against Obama.

I posted that ONLY because @Hoosier8 was trying to dump that on Obama.

 

Most of the "historic facts" I see here don't generally say the same things they are made out to when the circumstances are looked at closely. Doesn't mater if it's left or right historical facts. Context and full statements are important.

There are two other possibilities. Our public health officials could be morons or they could be disingenuous.

 

@Hoosier8 has posted these baseless charges against Obama on many occasions, and I finally decided that the politicization has to end.

The fact that Trump's administration ends up being involved is not my objective.

You might even find that there are justifications for Trump's acts in this regard (though in most cases I doubt that).

But, that is NOT THE POINT.

The point I made is that the charges against OBAMA are absolute pure crap.

If you think you can support Hoosier's charges against Obama, then BRING IT.

 

The issue being discussed is really a matter of POLICY.

Policy is informed by many factors. Science is only one of those factors, as we clearly see in so many ways.

For instance, policy on lead in water is informed by the cost of additional lead removal.

Policy on clean water is also informed by the cost to agriculture and the desire of the population to have nice green lawns.

 

So USA Today was lying? Fascinating.

 

I'm sorry for you if you got duped by a source you rely on so exclusively.
