Cutting through 24" of rebar and steel mesh reinforced concrete is a formidable job.

The only person who should be embarrassed is you. Criminals will take the path of least resistance and know how. You mention those who choose? If they choose, they think that their chances are good.

You are clueless. If the bad guy wants to go in, they will breach or go around. Criminals always find a way.

I will be honest, I do not know if they destroyed the statue or placed is somewhere else or not, I am sure it was a 200k embarrassment, I 100% support diversity, but you can't re-write history

As I've said over and over again, I back the bipartisan bill of 2013. It has at least three approaches to reducing the number who come and stay without documentation.

Trump is selling his piece of wall like it is a solution. And, it is NOT. He's selling it on emotion and hasn't shown what his increment of wall could possibly contribute to a problem that has many dimensions - not just one.

If you want to attack crime, then there should be a proposal to do that.

There are lots of criminals who are committing heinous crimes.

Today, we don't even process all rape kits.

And, be careful with your hate speech. The catch is that Trump points at a criminal and then makes statements about a "solution" that affects all - not just the criminals.

Reducing illegal immigration WILL reduce crime.

And they should be dealt with. Citizen criminals will always exist. Why make the situation worse by having a bunch of criminals from another country?

Unforgivable. What is your point though?

My "hate speech?" What the hell? What hate speech?

You mean it affects illegal immigrants who are NOT criminals? Why does that matter? Its not as if they're legal.

Characterizing those coming here and staying illegally as being criminals is where you went off the rails.

There is no evidence that another increment of wall will have any affect on US crime stats.

If you want to fight crime, you should look into ways to support our criminal justice system.

And if it was a COMPLETE wall, would you be in favour of it?

I'm characterizing SOME of those coming and staying illegally as being criminals! How are you NOT getting this? Do you not acknowledge that SOME of them are criminals?

Is there evidence that ANY border policy will reduce crime? One thing that we DO know is that reducing illegal immigration WILL reduce crime.

Some of every population commit crimes. That's just not good enough as an excuse.

If Trump wants to include a specific dollar amount to his justification for the wall, fine.

In that case I want to know the dollar amount of "crime fighting" he wants to right off the wall cost.

But, that's going to be a pathetic argument, as he doesn't even have figures concerning how much illegal immigration will be slowed.

Basically, he doesn't have a plan and he doesn't have a justification beyond pure emotion - which he whips up by implying that those south of our border are some how pathetic human beings. And, that's basically a racist type of argument, obviously.

The one that stands out the most is saying that neo-Nazis and white suoremacists are some good people. What do they represent?

They represent absolute racist hatred. Trump taking a hundred years to condemn them was a complete disgrace I admit, but the people that he referred to as "good people" are the ones who were just there to protest to removal of the Robert E. Lee statue. Not EVERYONE on the right were neo-Nazi's and white supremacists.

Well from what I understand, the proposed revised statue was never built, but an accurate one was build as is now outside FDNY Headquarters.

How does "wall" mean never anything else in addition?

Sure, you can say that, but you are unable to say what some of their methods would be!
You have NO IDEA the level of ease that it would be to breach it! Do you admit that a wall would make it more difficult to cross the border?

Do you mean by going through the gaps where there is no wall?

So if they "THINK" that their chances are good, then there chances WILL be good? What does it matter what they think?

What do they say? That some of them commit crime and we need to stop them from getting into the US? What's wrong with that? Or do they say that they are mostly criminals? THAT would be racist and wrong.

I probably am the only poster posting here who has actually been paid to cut through rebar and concrete. It is one difficult job. I had professional tools. A son of a gun to do. Worst work I ever did in my life.
