Ruger has been moving toward the ammo market for a long time, esp. with the introduction of several proprietary Ruger cartridges.
I think it's illegal to order ammo online if it ships to CA. I dunno and don't care how it's going, but they've been trying since 2011 to pass a law that would require a Brady check to buy ammo, with very serious penalties for anyone who tries to buy in another State and bring it in. There's even more to their ammo law at home, like photographing every buyer and so forth.
I just regard "that place" as a foreign and communist country where I am not allowed to go, though I live only 45 miles from the border.

It's the same third of the population stacking more and more guns in their bat-caves.

Obama stated he wanted to ban scary looking rifles and added he would like to ban handguns to. I will take him at his word.

Hillary wants to do what Australia did.

I hope Hillary gets the nomination because her bid to go left of left on guns will torpedo her bid for President.

A totally false statement and liberal propaganda. Industry data says otherwise with new buyers and women being a whole new market.

Then perhaps you can prove conclusively that the number of legal firearm owners is not increasing, just to show that such is not the case.

Please show us stats to prove that contention.

He can't, it's just a liberal talking point ( translate that into lie ) and he knows it. Women are a big part of new gun sales. With Hillary shooting her mouth off about gun confiscation, you can rest assured that gun sales will go through the roof especially with things such as AR's and high capacity magazines. Now Shrillery is on the record and only yesterday one of her reps was trying to walk back her statements.

Took me no reason at all to buy two guns this week. Glock 43 and a old sad looking Model 36 SW.

LOL they believe that the anti-gun polls show only 30 people in the USA own 300 million guns, I saw one of em died in California awhile back so now we're down to 29

I bet they look good in your Bat Cave too. You know how we are, at least according the libs. I wonder how they'd feel if they knew their women have impure thoughts about our kind.

I've been wanting an AR-10 myself. I think I will start shopping for one as well. I'm looking for a good anti-tyranny/deer rifle.

And yet here we are, on the verge of Black Friday. Near riots in Chicago over another dead thug, airliners blown out of the sky and mass shooting and bombings in Paris. Savage crimes like the murder/rape of a young pregnant woman in Indie. Record shootings in inner cities throughout America perpetrated by Democratic acolytes. It's not a matter if I'm going to purchase a firearm, it's how many and what type. December will set records not only for gun sales but accessories including magazines.

Picked up a DPMS308 AP4, very accurate with the Leopold vx-3 scope.

They caught the guys that murdered the pregnant woman and it looks like it will stick. They found them with ATM receipts in her name in their car.

Looks like a domestic terrorist to me, but there are some on the left who would quibble with the definition.

Bought a Ruger Precision Rifle in 6.5
Need to buy dedicated sights for it.

Consider a PTR 91, basically an H&K 91 clone with a very good rep.

A couple of my friends have one.
Great piece of German engineering -- meaning that it works wonderfully, but is about 5x more complicated than need be,
There's nothing that G3 can do that my M1A can't, with 1/3 the parts.

I like H&K in general and have used a variety of them. Money says your M1 will stop working a whole lot sooner than my H&K. Not as accurate at distance but a better battle rifle. Kicks hard, not as well balanced but will digest garbage that will make an M1 puke. Totally reliable.
