Well, based off of all the evidence you have seen. Your thoughts on the matter, etc.

will you think george will be innocent or guilty?

I personally believe it's very obvious that he was fighting in self defense. however when you add in the media bias & all that craziness its more of an even playing field.

I say he's going to walk free.

He will walk, as he should. It's all very unfortunate but he has the right to defend himself and that's all he really did. Had Trevon kept his hands to himself it never would have happened.

I think that mommy's little angel Trevon decided to be a thug and tried it on the wrong person. I think that the evidence supports Zimmerman's version of what happened and that Zimmerman acted in self defense. While it is terrible that a 17 year old was killed, I don't think that Zimmerman broke any laws that night. He should go free and I think he will.

based on the evidence alone... zimmerman shouldnt even be going to trial..... but you have to add in all the media bias into this court case which evens it out between the prosecutor and defendant. so its hard to determine who will really win

You can count there being at least 6 black jurors......so the best zimmerman can hope for is a hung jury.

He has already been tried and found guilty by the media.....thus at least half the white jurors will go along with that.

I predict 9 jurors voting guilty and 3 voting innocent.

Though it is possible that he might be persuaded to plea bargain.....I do not think the guy is very intelligent...but I do not think he is guilty of murder. From what I have read he acted in self defense.

Some on the Right think "babies" (i.e. fertilized eggs) should be protected....but it's open season on young black men.

Given the evidence that I have seen, I hope that he will be found innocent, and I hope that he is able to win his suit against NBC.

even if he wasn't heading for a not guilty verdict, The media set him up with a mistrial, or at the very least grounds for an appeal.

I agree, it's really that simple. This guy George did not set out to kill anybody that night. The entire thing is most unfortunate but it is that simple. I realize some people want to bring in the ''hate'' thing, but had Trevon been white he would still be dead. Does anybody think that George would have said..

''OK, this guy is beating the crap out of me but he's white,. I wont shoot him''

Hardly,,he was scared, panicked and reacted.

Does anybody still think had he been white George would not have followed him? That would be hard to believe after we have learned so much about George. George sees himself as super Cop [or something], he gets his kicks out of feeling important, he would look to bust anybody. The guy wants attention.

His perfect ending to that night would have been some huge drug bust and have gotten a big medal,,be the other guy white or black..He's not after the guy, he's after the attention....

It’s my belief that the DA will highlight so many contradictions in the different interviews with Zimmy that there is no way the jury will find him anything but lire, and if the jury does not believe him they will convict him

What's he going to have lied about that would alter this thing that much? What? You either believe he set out to kill that kid or he did not, the rest is all fluff. To think George wanted to be in this mess makes no sense, what's the motive Race? If that's the case and he is that much of a racist other things would have come up in his past, big things, obvious things. There is relatively nothing, why kill this kid? He knows the consequences of such an action, he's not that dumb. He knew that night he was in big trouble, you think he wanted that?

Was it premeditated?, no not even close. Was there a fight? Yes there were witnesses. Was he getting the worse of it? obviously Travon had no injuries, and you or others trying to make light of his head injury wont fly. Nobody can say if that injury could have been serious or not, we have seen it in sports. Anybody that has banged their head on the ground gets shook, it's scary. Especially in that situation, a fight. A jury will easily believe he panicked,,he was scared.

Most of this stuff you hear from the prosecution is sensationalism, superficial, opinionated, nothing solid at all. There was a fight, the guy losing shot the other period! I'm a father and cant imagine that families pain. I feel horrible about it, but it sure as hell does not make that guy George a murderer. Put yourself on that jury, you gonna charge this guy who shot somebody that was beating him up? It's really that simple in my opinion. Very sad indeed..

We as parents especially of boys worry like hell as they get older. We tell them explicitly,,,don't get into a fight your not a kid anymore and you never know what the other guy has on him. Dont we say that? Why? because we have seen time and time again how things happen. One moment your fine, the next Dead!

George isn't charged with premeditated murder.. I think GZ will be convicted on the evidence.. if it goes to trial... I think he'll ask for a plea deal.. he is up to his ears in lies.

The prosecution has not been sensational.. They have been very quiet.

George and his BrotheR Robert are tweeting round the clock and giving interviews... opening websites begging for money.

Nope, no lies about anything important. They had a fight and he was getting beat up, got scared and shot him. The jury will believe the young man threw the first punch, and that's all they will need.
Now,,if they do believe the younger man swung first, then why would George not have shot him immediately if he was a racist or something? Why did he bother fighting him first? If he was a racist he would have shot him right off the bat, instead he was yelling for help.

I could be wrong there could be a lot more to come, but the way it is now,,,mistrial at worst.

Lots of racists down prowl the streets every night with their car lights off and they don't shoot neighborhood teens. GZ has a history of violent behavior, stalking, lying an over all failure.

Trayvon may have hit GZ once but he didn't bang his head on the sidewalk.... GZ is a control freak who thought he had some authority over TM.. He grabbed or pushed TM when TM tried to walk away.. Remember GZ was very angry when he got out of his car.

Considering it was George who was punched first I would think that balances the violent behavior thing. You can not look at one and ignore what actually happened. I doubt the jury will, it seems both were not angels.

Control freak? grabbed or pushed? Tried walking away? You may know a lot more about this than I, are those indisputable facts? or hear say?

George grabbed TM's hoodie and by his own admission never identified himself. GZ tried to detain TM.

This is a bad bunch... George's brother (or maybe George) has been tweeting non stop.. and if you think they aren't racists... go to RobertZjr and read up.

Every few yards there were small concrete service covers in the grass.. I suppose George could have hit one of those.. The small lacerations are actually too high on his head to have been banged on the sidewalk. I suspect that Trayvon died punch hima good one but it certainly wasn't a beat down.

This guy tried to highjack a car belonging to an MMA trained fighter.

It is quite clear to me that people support one side or another based on existing political positions and NOT on the basis of whether they think he is actually guilty or not. I suspect that if all the evidence was the same but the racial identities of the two person concerned were reversed then a substantial number of persons would hold opposing views to the views they now hold.

Since a guilty verdict is supposed to be 'beyond reasonable doubt' and we really do not know what happened in the missing minute then the only reasonable verdict is not guilty.

I have no seen any evidence that martin did anything illegal during the encounter before the fatal incident. I have seen no evidence that proves Zimmerman attacked first or threatened Martin with violence.

Zimmerman gives Testimony that Martin appeared through bushes, confronted Zimmerman and then attacked him. I have seen no evidence that this is NOT a possible series of events. Since Zimmerman acted perfectly lawfully (you are entitled to carry a licenseed weapon and you are permitted to follow somone for legitimate reasons) then I see no reason why a Guilty verdict would be applied.

Since Seminole county is 82% White and only 9.5% Black why should half the jury be black? Indeed with Florida's 6 man jury then on average either one or no jurors should be black when jurors are randomly selected from residents of the county concerned that are on a database supplied by theDepartment of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles.

    Margot.

It was not illegal for Zimmerman to carry arms whether he was or was not a member of the neighborhood watch. Neighbourhood watch may have their own guidelines but there is no law regulating their carrying of firearms. I also don't agree with you that he became an active neighborhood watch officer merely because he made a phone call.

This is reminiscent of those who insist that the Police ordered Zimmerman not to follow Martin, Firstly they merely said that they did not require him to follow and secondly they have no authority to order him not to follow in any case.

At no point up to the disputed minute had he broken any law.

As for there being no 'bushes' there are clearly some close planted shrubs maybe not planted close enought to be properly a 'bush' (where shrubs must be touching in a continous wall) your claim is not very compelling.

:weed::weed::weed::weed::weed: bush :weed: :weed: :weed: shrubs

Only one person actually knows what happened during that minute and that is Zimmerman. The prosecution must prove that he acted unlawfully, they have the burden, NOT Zimmerman.

I have seen no evidence that demonstrates that Zimmerman acted unlawfully during the disputed minute.
