From the Guardian: Will there be a second wave of coronavirus?

    Excerpt:
As ,I never tire of saying, "Do you know there was a SARS-1 in China in 2002/2004 that killed around 770 people?" Then I suggest that you read about it here. Note on that site also the map of where it struck. (The US!)

Wow! Amazingly similar to Covid-19, huh?!?

    Count on it ... !

PS: And the Yanks demonstrating to "get back to work" is a very good indication of how
Covid-2 is going to kill them because THEY WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO MEET-UP WITH THE DISEASE!

Donald Dork should get off his FAT A$$ and rescind any need to pay any income tax this year for incomes lower than $50K a year.

That would be pretty good for starters ... !

Coronavirus is here to stay until when/if we get a vaccine. Period.

We won’t have a V because this type of virus cannot be controlled by 2020 medicine

Your way of posting is a good indicator that you really aren't interested in intelligent discussion but rather you are feeding a desire to rant.

    For your edification (from here):
The Feds get one helluva majority from creating it, which is lawfully their jurisdiction. Taxation is just another source of funding - and Donald Dork reduced upper-income taxation to provoke "his people" to give to his reelection just a while ago!

America's total debt has gone haywire ever since 2008, when a Replicant government almost sank the whole of the nation's supply of capital:

Uncle Sam has got to get a hold of himself fiscally! And spending EVERMORE funds on the DoD is NOT the way to do so!

Who cares? The National Debt has been skyrocketing for more than a decade!

Uncle Sam is in DEEP, DEEP sneakers financially. (Just look at the debt shooting sky-high here.)

And Donald-Dolt in the Offal Office is spending money like there is no tomorrow! And where? In the DoD!

What happened? Did Mars declare war on the Earth .... ??????

PS: DD's "story" is that of anyone born with a silver-spoon in their mouth. He is totally out of touch with reality as the common-people know it all-too-well!

    LIFE GOES ON, BUT ...

Sez you. I've talked to people who actually study viruses and improvise medical treatments.

Yes, just like China's "SARS story" of 2002/2004 it is going to take time to develop and implement a remedy.

The SARS event did indeed come to an solid-end once the remedy was found and that takes at least a year to find it and a while more to test it AND EVEN MORE AGAIN TO ADMINISTER IT TO A POPULATION.

What we need less of is people "freaking out" because their sweet, fat-ass lives are at stake for the first time in their existence.

Life goes on, but so does death. Did you think you were already born in heaven ... ?

And while there's blame to go around, there's not enough blame for the lab coats who have us in this situation while at the same time wanting us to sing their praises. When they stopped SARS-COV-1 in 2004, they had(until the 2019 outbreak) FIFTEEN YEARS.

And don't give me the funding crap, they were still funded. They just weren't the top of the economic food chain and they shouldn't be. Vaccines, as important and as crucial as we know they are, aren't even close in importance to say infrastructural developments if they did their jobs right(you know, do more with less.)

It's not possible to fund everything 100%. That means you have to manage your budgets. What were they doing for fifteen years? As much as Pelosi wants to investigate everything, I'd ask her this is one of the things I want to investigate. Their excuse doesn't fly. 15 years should be enough to get something done.

Then, people, STAY INSIDE YOUR RESIDENCE in stead of infecting the rest of the population! The masks were never IN STOCK for the entire country because nobody was expecting an epidemic.

In France we have beautifully long beaches and NOBODY is allowed on them. I saw footage from the US how many beaches in Florida on a sunny Sunday were FLOCKED with people taking the sun.

You wanna die? Go for it ... !

As an American living abroad, yes, I AM OBLIGED TO PAY AMERICAN TAXATION ON ALL MY INCOME EARNED WHILST ABROAD.

Which means I am subject to Double Taxation because we Americans living in Europe are obliged to pay local/national taxes in our place of residence.

Any other silly questions? As if where someone paid taxes was even of the slightest importance as regards a matter of life-or-death ...

For purposes of attacking Trump one of our media outlets had old footage of Fauci predicting a epidemic. "Contagion," nice movie.

We could whine about the lack of preparation, and not being individual preppers, and blame Trump for France failing to prevent their deaths from Wuhan, or could point out our States (who did not prepare either) could manufacture their own masks...too (for the next WAVE); some of our States have no more excuse than France or any other country, as often our individual or regional State economies are matched to other nations.

My beach in isn't flocked, I live within walking distance, they loosened the rules and no longer threaten a misdemeanor.

People have to go get food..., on my last couple of trips most people have scarves or dust masks, and I've only seen a very small number of n95 masks (without any eye shield); basically wearers of inadequate masks are only protecting others from their allergy sneeze, not themselves in any way.

Only the RICH, who pay double taxation, have the luxury to STAY INSIDE YOUR RESIDENCE.

If our country does not get back to work, there will be no country in which to pay taxes.

They probably aren't paying much if anything at that income level. The bottom half pay next to nothing unfortunately.

Let me guess, but not the Fauci quote from late Feb saying the virus was a minimal threat to the US, and only a hypothetical one?

Is that prediction of a second wave being made by the same guys who predicted millions of deaths?

In France, with exception*, yes. Yes, this is the ONLY WAY to stop an infection by Covid-19 (until a cure has been found). Except that one's total Income is diminished but still payable by the state in part as "Unemployment Assurance"..

Which is why the French do "stay at home" to prevent spreading the virus and jeopardizing the lives of those who have not contracted Covid-19 ... !

*The exception being those working in the Medical Profession.
