At a time when the borders are a major concern, inflation is still not tamed, mass shootings occur at greater than a daily rate, the war in Ukraine rages on, etc, etc...THIS is the major concern for US conservatives...??

Where is the similar law for trans men? Is a 'man' to be defined as one who can produce sperm and all others will be banned from male toilets?

 

I think the Kansas bill is trying to ban transwomen from using women's restrooms. But the way it was written was piss poor and may affect biological women as well with the wording it is using. Again, a law dealing with health written by a politician who has not seen the inside of a biology book since the 9th grade. But at the same time, it is not a crime, just a prohibition in which is either unenforceable or political grandstanding. Also public restrooms can include any restrooms that are available to the public on private property whether you use or purchase something in the establishment, government buildings, etc.

OK, fine, there was a problem in a highly democratic county. The LOGICAL solution is to ensure (by law and procedure) every place has enough paper on hand on during election season.

To write a law that will only apply to a single county seems ridiculously unconstitutional somehow. can't think of a single reason this law couldn't apply to every county in the state...

 

Gonna be a lot weirder watching them pee in the bushes next to the toilets...

 

Nothing is stopping them from going in the actual bathroom that corresponds to what they have between their legs.

There is a reference to the "definition" given by those wise men as to what a "woman" is....and it would disqualify quite a number of females from being able to use those facilities...

You may be unaware, but my wife and sister both tell me that women's bathrooms have separate cubicles...Please explain how anyone can see another "pissing" in those circumstances, whether seated or standing...??

And as far as "between the legs" is concerned, are you not aware that many trans women have undergone gender-affirming surgery...? Of course you are...

 

Because no one is afraid for men. Women have always been the ones protected while no one cares if the men die. Men fight the wars and die. "women and children first" on a sinking ship. Men far and away do the jobs that are more dangerous (ex: skyscraper construction), yet we never hear feminism cry for equality in those sectors. Men are simply not worth as much as women.

And the weirdest part of it, because I have asked the question, they apparently do have “unisex” toilets.

 

And you know this how? What Ant and I both want to know is why is this an issue? I mean most trans people you will not be able to pick that they are trans and there are some very “manly” looking women for whom that is a natural look so, HOW WILL THEY TELL? Are we going to have to have Bajingo police outside of every public toilet? What about those poor cervical cancer sufferers who have had to have what is termed a “pelvic clearance”?

 

We had ONE attack of a child in a toilet and the attacker was not trans. There is no magic seal to stop men from hiding in women’s toilets.

 

Lols! I know of more that a few women who have used anoraks with hoods to sneak into men’s toilets because the line was too long on the women’s toilets.

That is not what happened here. No one saw him go in and he raped and killed the child within minutes. This was in 2006. He is still in jail and may never see the light of day. This is a rare crime (thankfully) even globally it is rare - usually because there are too many people around public toilets

 

Tell you this much - that does not work in our arid areas - too much Spinifex and spear grass - ouch!
