Nope, you guys use that other items can be used to kill in gun debates to diminish how dangerous guns are.

Oh! And these are NON-LETHAL a weapons

    upload_2022-6-10_15-33-19.jpeg

think they would work against an AR 15?

Knives, although dangerous, are not as dangerous as the AR15 simply because of the rapidity of damage caused and the disruption of the tissue

They're not dangerous at all when used properly.

Was the Uvalde killer using guns “properly”? How about the Buffalo shooter? Las Vegas? Aurora? Sandy Hook? Tree of Life? The list goes on and on. The vast majority of riad users are responsible people so why do we have road rules?

Aren’t they meant to kill things? That’s pretty dangerous.

They can be used for whatever you want to put a projectile on. From a living animal to a beer can to a watermelon to a paper Target to a tree stump to whatever the hell you want.

I killed a hog with mine about 5 years ago but other than that it hasn't killed anything. Out of hundreds if not thousands of rounds

I should think it would be rather obvious I don't know why you're asking me this question. Actually I do know but I'll let you guess on that one.

No they're not being used properly when you go and break the law with them. Is a car being used properly when you go break the rules of the road?

I've been known to! When you get tired of eating the damn things because there's so many around this time of year you have to figure out something. Y'all know they make guns specifically for different Target shooting sports like trap and skeet right?

    Oh, the humanity!

no, I thought you just used an ordinary shotgun for trapshooting. That’s clay pigeon shooting isn’t it?

Should have seen my friends front yard. He works in agriculture and somehow ended up with about 40 of them in his yard and his kid was out there smashing them with baseball bats for something to do.

They also feed a lot to the cattle. There's a giant watermelon packing facility right down the road from my house

i have been assured that due process requires a conviction. which requires a crime. there is no constitutional right to carry a bag of dead cats.

Who gives a sh*t?? If we wanted to live like an Australian, we'd put our happy asses in the back of a Quantus 747 and move there, to the land of no freedom of speech, no right to keep and bear arms, lots of other restrictions, and animals that can kill you just by looking in your direction.

    We.
    Don't.
    Care.
    What.
    You.
    Think.

We protect money... with armed guards.
We protect banks... with armed guards.
We protect Wal-Marts... with armed guards.
We have cameras that can zoom in so close from the other side of a gigantic store (don't know if you've ever seen a Home Depot in the US, but wowzers are they big), read your text messages on your cell phone screen, and hear what you're saying. In addition to armed guards.
We protect Courts... with armed guards.
    Of course Police Precincts...
    Sports stadiums...
Transportation facilities, and not just airports... I saw a guy in full camo with a GENUINE assault rifle (M-4) from the US Army at a ferry station in NYC one time. And that's just the one I saw!
And I could go on and on and on...

But some people get stuck on stupid when the idea of protecting our children the same way. Money, no problem. Kids...? They're on their own, eh?!

The same is true of pretty much every firearm you could list, except maybe the one shot .22lr pistol I inherited from my dad that I can't imagine is good enough for anything but a covert assassination of a specific individual in a crowded place. It's so small you could wear it on a necklace and nobody would think it was even real.

Most of them are used for nothing more than shooting holes in paper. And other legal targets, like say a soda bottle filled with water. 99.9999999% (or more) of all firearms will never even be used to shoot at another human being, heck, most cops go their entire career without needing to shoot someone. Or used to, with this "defund the police" induced crime wave that's happening now, that could change.

They think that if they somehow keep repeating this lie that guns are made to kill that that's their only purpose...
That It's going to somehow mean something.

It means something all right... It means they don't have a clue

you do not know where the ignore button is?

i do not consider the constitution to be a suicide pact.

you can not have an unregulated right to firearms and then pick and choose where you will allow them to be kept and borne. this guy was peacefully enjoying his constitutional right to carry, and might have been meeting with his child's teacher or applying for a job as "school resource officer."

you can not deny the government's power to public health measures and then, in steve's reducto absurdum, deny the right to carry a bag of dead cats
