If anyone should like America it is the Japanese. After what you all did any country other then America would have conquered you like you did most of east Asia. Has your nation ever done that for an enemy? Who wrote your constitution that gives you the rights you enjoy today? Any capitalist nation with a rights systems similar to ours will be a great nation. Sure Japan is no exception, but don't go biting the hand that weaned you.

The WWW runs on American standards. So your appeal to the tastes of the Japanese doesn't count. Here, you can find the same jacket, and it would come with matching pants with no pockets. So here, on the WWW it is a women's jacket. You and your friends can disagree over at wet seal later, but for our purposes that is the standard we have to use. Just trying to help. Not in a discussion with Americans. It works like this, if I posted a picture of myself in women's clothing holding a purse, and I told people "see how cool I am?" People would point out the women's clothing. They wouldn't say "are you from Japan? Because they have a cross dressing culture. ". They would apply American standards because the WWW is all about Americans.

Let me know who wrote the constitution that gave you your rights, who didn't take your nation as a conquest of war like you did so many others, and what enemy after the fight helped build you up again, stronger then ever? I would say your constitution is poorly written in some ways too, lead to a huge Diet, and now it has representation to the population issues. But a good foundation from which to build from. And with access to our markets that was possible. Be glad you didn't stagnate like Eastern Europe under the soviets.

So - bottom line - would you have done the same for us had you won? The same for east Asia?

I think it is because I think you know that I always post the FACTS and I will also confirm or admit any shortcomings stated by any member here specific to my country or myself.

I have been to Japan as I have been just about everywhere and I find the vast majority of Japanese to be polite and courteous people. I also know that there is a growing percentage of Japanese Youth who are too far removed by almost 70 years of what happened in WWII.

The Japanese youth such as yourself...are not doing anything wrong in the sense that they are tired of hearing about their countries defeat and I myself....if I was in your shoes would find issue with having another countries Military Forces basically in control of my entire country....because that is basically the facts.

But what you are doing wrong is not realizing that from the ashes of WWII....the U.S. and Japan have grown to be very close allies and friends. And as I posted before....when Japan needed help the most....we were there....and we helped to an extent that the Japanese themselves could not do.

As far as you specific insults upon American's or such posts as...."my parents did spend alot of money for my school exchange and i got nothing in return but dirt, stupidity, discomfort and low quality. that forged the image i have of your nation."...end quote Akuma........I think you have to admit a few things to yourself.

The United States is very different that Japan in that the general population of the U.S. is a basic representation of every race, creed, color, ethnicity and Nationality EXISTING ON EARTH.

Japan's population is by and far completely consisting of Japanese People.

Now you might see our Multicultural, Multinational, Multi...everything....as a WEAKNESS.....but in fact it is a STRENGTH!!

Yes the U.S. has many problems but problems can be solved....and when something bad happens anywhere o this Planet....exactly who is the entire Planetary Citizenship looking at to solve the Problem? The United States of course.

When Toyota did a study to see whether it would be better to build Toyota's in Japan and ship them to the U.S....or spend more money to build new plants in the United States and use U.S. Workers....after the studies numbers came in the Executives at Toyota were ASTOUNDED!!!

The study showed that even though they would have to spend roughly 28 Times as much money to build plants in the U.S. as well as additional Billions to develop other Car Sales related Programs....the payoff within 6 years would be DOUBLE THEIR INVESTMENT!!!

The reasons....the Average U.S. Worker is 26% MORE PRODUCTIVE THAN THE SECOND HIGHEST LEVEL OF PRODUCTIVITY WORKER IN THE WORLD....and the average U.S. Worker is 13.7 Times more productive than a specific percentage of the Chinese Work Force as since much of China is poverty stricken if the entire Chinese Population was used in the calculation it would be like 600 to 700 Times more productive.

Other reasons....U.S. Employees are more likely than workers from any other country to THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX to resolve problems that need drastic solutions.

And regardless of any poor performance records in Public Education in the U.S....the United States still has BY FAR the absolute best, most advanced and desired College and Universities in the WORLD and in my Home State of Massachusetts ALONE.....there are 21 Colleges or Universities that are considered in the TOP 25 in the World.

As well there are over 100 Colleges and Universities in Massachusetts...just ONE SMALL STATE AMONG A TOTAL OF 50 STATES.....where exists THOUSANDS OF COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES....that countries all around the world...INCLUDING JAPAN.....just salivate at the thought of somehow getting their kids in.

I don't agree with that. I could have voted in 1930 too. We had a parliament. The system was virtually the same as today. Evry historian will tell you that japan changed not one thing after 1945.

Beside that, you can insult my nation as much you want. insult the clothes i wear as much you want and insult my culture. I don't care because i'm very proud for my nation, my history and my people. Nothing you say will change that. You don't like my clothes? No problem, i wear them and it isn't your business. As Ishihara said, the opinion of a foreigner is meaningless in Japan.

You say USA were there when we needed help? We were also there when USA needed help. We helped in afghanistan and iraq ( we broke our constitution for that...again) we helped in New Orleans...

Yes...Japan did help in a limited way in both Iraq and Afghanistan as it's U.S. written Constitution forbid Japan from using offensive Military Force.

as for the constitution, the japanese people have no connection to it, Thats why we change it now. PM Abe will make it possible for us to use offensive force. Which is a good thing.

I dont support anything we do. UNO for example...Japan is one of the biggest payers of that joke and i believe we should leave it because it never achieved anything. We do make mistakes, like anyone else too.

If anything right now with China acting aggressive toward Japan over the Islands issue....the U.S. and Japan find themselves in a position to work together for their own mutual benefit.

I have a very funny story about when the Chinese Navy sailed close in toward those Islands and I was told this by a Chinese PLN Officer who I know.

He told me the Chinese Communist Party ordered the PLN....Peoples Liberation Navy...to send a Naval Force toward Japan and those Islands and the Chinese Naval Leaders were dead set against it.
